We continue to endeavour to progress strategic discussions with regards to our joint venture, Imutex, and to maximise the strategic options available to both companies as we now await publication of the data from the UNISEC and NIAID FLU-v studies in peer reviewed journals

Publication will trigger the next RNS and further major sp bounce forward imo. Any major pharm will want to point to the publications in their business case to enter into any JV or licence acquisition negotiation - again purely imo. Just a question of time now - nothing else as far as i can see.

I watched Season 2 Episode 3 a couple of days ago on Netflix - I knew it was a sign!
Great to see so many posts on the back of todays news - there were times last month when there were just 2 of us here! This is just the start!

If you were now running the company and had an immediate cash injection of £1.5M and knew that in effect you were facing a confidence vote within the next month on your leadership (isn't that what it boils down to?) then wouldn't you spend this money on making sure that you could deliver a mother of an RNS before the GM? I would! Watch this space!! I predict a faster retrace upwards than we have seen drop today when news hits.

Very fair point JH but the difference in timings give ANGS more opportunity to further prove up flow rate and also present their plans to the market as to how they will further develop using the funds which I hope will positively impact the SP in the intervening period. That is my hope anyway.

My initial reaction to the RNS is a storm in a teacup and hopefully shareholders will see sense and vote accordingly. As for funding i see this as a positive. Required to further develop as well as working capital and if I am reading the terms correctly no dilution unless they pay 150% of the 5 day vwap price seeing the advance.
I suspect as usual there will be a knee jerk reaction in the market this morning followed by realisation that this company continues to move forward.
Now let's get the GM out of the way and crack on!

Nice end to the day - i'll take that. Whatever your view on where HVO is going (I am very optimistic by way of disclosure) I suspect we are all agreed that 2019 is going to be a very noteworthy year for Hvivio.

My only observation is that this is a very generous option share price. Has there been any justification in terms of the FD's performance or over all remuneration package. I am all for rewarding results and if anyone has any insights into what has triggered this i would be interested.

Yanis. IMO the RNS is carefully worded to avoid any claims of misleading the market when they are not yet in the position to give flow rates. As for the xmas break it seems sensible timing from a cost perspective.

We thought that testing had commenced and now we know it has commenced. Box ticked. This is a commercial flow test. I am not an oil expert but I am guessing that the tap will not be turned full on from day one and it will take time to establish a stable sustainable rate. Happy to be corrected by industry experts.

Absolutely Dickyboy - these should be a feature in any investors balanced long term portfolio if they want to derive an income. They have passed a tough stress test recently and if this Bank were to fail then you might as well kiss goodbye to all your other holdings as well as we will have probably returned to the barter system if that were the case.
