Good to see that the vast majority of posters are taking this unwelcome news in their stride and have not been drawn in to the doom and gloom mentality. That oil exploration was easy. Investors here should understand the risks and timeframes. I believe in the Weald potential. The worst thing you can do is panic at this time. Let the engineers do their job and carry on with your life.

It will soon be 12 months since the RNS announced the Haverion drilling campaign. I have no objection to an early valentines gift giving us news on the drill results. This post is also a timely reminder for male investors with partners...don't leave it until the garage flowers are your only option!

I am reading this board as this case does create learning lessons for investors. I am truly sorry if these are being experienced at the financial cost of investors and equally important at the possible future employment impacts on hard working Flybe employees.
I am trying to work out whether posters here are trying to get possible compensation from brokers for not alerting holders about the egm or whether they are trying to reverse the deal decision. If the latter then what is the consensus view on whether the company could continue to trade without an alternative and better offer in light of the demands from the credit card company?

Time is such a funny thing Coach. I still have some shares that I brought over 30 years ago.....seems like yesterday!

Thanks PaddyGall. If I am reading this correctly that is just for Haverion and of course we also have Black Hills in the Paterson licence and then the 5 other projects on top of Paterson. That is why I am taking a 10 year view to maximize the full potential here.

AuRER. Agreed. At this point it does feel like next week could be very interesting. One thing is for sure and that is GH and CB will not have been sitting twiddling their thumbs whilst waiting for results. Looking forward to hearing about the 2019 program.

Hi Morningsun - I totally understand the reason behind the expectation - i am quietly confident that results are going to very good. My observation was more about investor behaviour that actual results - the 2 can be very different as i think we all know. Look at the retrace now - does it surprise me? no - do I think it is justified, no - can I forecast the next SP movement...unfortunately no. Do i believe in the medium to long term potential for GGP to be a huge success - ABSOLUTELY.
In the meantime I continue to watch and learn after all these years of playing the game.
