Interesting article on gold output. Whilst we are seeing a surge at the moment, but this is forecast to go into reverse as early as 2021 as existing resource is depleted. Perfect timing for Haverion to come into play (ok I might be a little premature I know!).I

The only thing I am confident in is that news will drop out of the blue when it is not expected and if that news is positive as in a jv with a major pharmacy then this multibag at these levels. Lots of ifs I know but I have my ticket(s) and I am here for whatever the ride brings!I

Measured interview from TH as we have come to expect. Interesting the interviewer did not delve into Haverion anticipated news \ update...pre briefed not to go there maybe ?

Errrr not all of us Spymaster. But I am hopeful for news in Newcrests quarterly update which is due shortly. I suspect all LTH here will be fully invested and day traders did not see anything that would create short term volatility.
Again the SP movement is not surprising.
Personally however I am very pleased with the RNS this morning. The relatively shallow depths at Firetower should see a steady news flow in late June onwards.....another reason why day traders are looking elsewhere...good...I hope they keep out of this game as long as possible until more sticky money arrives!

Undoubtedly that would do it Applegarth but I think that the next surge will be on any positive Newcrest update. It will be very telling how hard they intend to hit the Haverion drill campaign. With the Telfer clock ticking surely it is in their interest to move through the farm in stage agreements at pace subject of course to the right results.

Personally I am not expecting a Haverion update before the end of April (nearly there!) and that coincides with Newcrests quarterly update. Always happy to be surprised though as I would be with any other news within Patterson. The BoD will not want to spread their efforts and our capital too wide though imo. Again I could well be wrong and maybe I am being too conservative in my outlook.

I interpret this move as diversification whilst allowing Newcrest to do the heavy lifting at Haverion which is likely to bring increased learning and interest for Patterson. Positive results at Haverion will increase Newcrest appetite to look wider in Patterson.
If you read the potential of Firetower this is a large shallow anomolly and the drill campaign could potentially reveal a 1m oz plus find that could be accessed by open pit. Good infrastructure and local expert workforce. Barrick used to be close by I think before selling out Henty. Maybe they could be tempted back with the right results.
Good strategy in my view. As Easter approaches why have all your eggs in one basket!?

Key objectives of the drill programme are:

o Firetower prospect: to test strike continuity and potential depth extensions of mineralisation as guided by recent 3DIP inversions;

o Firetower East prospect (500m east of Firetower): to test 3DIP chargeability anomaly along strike from Firetower prospect in an area previously undrilled.

· Systematic, grid-based drilling to test the centre of the chargeability anomaly at Firetower which is located approximately 150m below surface (previous drilling in the area has only been to maximum depths of approximately 100m).

· Programme will consist of approximately 15 drill holes on five north-south traverses, with drill hole depths ranging from 75 metres up to 250 metres, for total of more than 2,000 metres.

· Additional holes to test a previously undrilled area at Firetower East which was identified by the 3DIP survey and has been selected for drill testing as it displays geological and geophysical features similar to those seen at the Firetower prospect.

· Field activities are expected to commence in late May subject to the receipt of all required regulatory approvals.

Days after news of the farm in Newcrest made this presentation. What impressed me was the focus on innovation that they are applying. These evolving techniques will be at the core as they look to prove up Haverion and as we hope start production. It is not hard to visualise a level of efficiency in the mining process that could not have been dreamed of at the outset of the Telfer campaign.
As for recent sp retrace just a reflection of short term AIM trading. I am very interested to read any references in Newcrest q1 update due end of April to Haverion. Also I would expect an RNS in the next week or so on GGP drill strategy for 2019 so anyone who understands the potential here just becoming very conflicted if they are tempted to chase another potential opportunity elsewhere.
In the meantime my only suggestion to this board is do not get drawn into personal bickering and please respect others views. There are some great posters here with vision. Easy for people to predict retrace on AIM because they will always be correct at some point.

Pebsi....that was pre Newcrest farm in. This is a very different proposition now and updates on their drill progress will come on a regular basis. Any drift downwards will quickly be reversed as investors load up imo.

I take comfort from the lack of trading at the moment mickey. My interpretation is that this is starting to become less of a day traded share and one for investors with vision. I hate spikes.
