There are so many positives to this news. Massive endorsement by a major. No question about funding the exploration of Haverion which could end in 30% of revenue from a tier 1 asset with low processing costs due to proximity of the Telfer infrastructure of huge but out.. The positive impact on current SP and the probable benefits of being able to raise capital of required to accelerate one of more of the other licenses.
Well done to the GGP BoD. This is a great deal!

I am not saying either would bid for a part of ggp sungam but can not help but feel another tier 1 asset if that is what we have, strengthens either company position.

ATB. We are on a journey and over time I believe we are going to see significant upside to the SP. People will be able to buy at 5p at some time in the future and I believe be able to double or triple their money and maybe more in time. No one has missed the boat yet and will not have done for some time - they will just have missed the opportunity to buy lower and that can be said of most stocks out there. Pick you entry and exit price and be happy - simple.
What a well written RNS I thought - hit the right tone of summarising progress and future potential with a big nod at the funding in existence and more detail to follow shortly on the next series of drilling / exploration campaigns - worked for me!

I am very hopeful for an update RNS on the drilling strategy this week or next and it will be interesting to see whether this is limited in scope to Haverion or whether other projects will move forward as well. Logically the SP movement should reflect the pace of the next drilling campaign and of course how it will be funded. If there is an equity deal with the drilling company I will see that as a massive vote of confidence from local experts - those looking to deramp will cry dilution. I will be looking for indications on how many drill holes the company are anticipating completing to establish the size of haverion. Does anyone know how deep the drill can go to establish depth given some results to date point to continued minerialisation when they stopped?
I have no idea what the price will be frankly - can you imagine the stampede if the RNS included anything to do with a major? On the flip side for balance if they announced the need to raise money for an accelerated drill programme I am sure the get rich brigade will hit the sell button but even in that scenario I think that there is plenty of money on the sidelines that will step in at that point. It does feel like we have bounced on the floor recently in SP terms.
Whatever happens i think it is going to happen in the next 2 weeks and many 10%er's will be thinking in those terms was well so i think it bodes well over coming days. Just my musings on a rainy Sunday afternoon - I am here for the big bucks and happy to wait.

Interesting interview with Mark Bristow in the Barrick / Newmont hostile merger bid ... listen to the comment about tier 1 asset - by definition as far as i can tell from other sources - assets with the potential to extract 500K Oz our annum in excess of 10 years and low cost. Not sure about the cost issue with Haverion but if it tanspires that it is of Telfer magnitude, the majors (in whatever guise) will not be knocking on GGP door - they will be using a battering ram!
Last comment from Mr Bristow - gold is the only currency that you can't make - spot on!!

Clearly SB,s holding is impressive but the statement he made that resignates with me was safe hands for a few years. Music to my ears as this is my strategy....holding for the significant gains as the portfolio of projects build momentum in a timely fashion and I hope a largely self financing as cash is generated and recycled into development capital. Add in the potential for a mining division and an opportunity to take another % of the end to end process. Finance is such a balance for every company and magnified for GGP at this stage of the journey but I can,t help but wonder whether Callum has his eye on any other prospects that the big boys have overlooked. I know....One step at a time.

I have high hopes leas and not just because of what delivering the flu vaccine will do to the SP but importantly for mankind. I have 3 young kids and it focuses the mind on what a pandemic can do.

Leaches were used in medicine extensively in the past but nothing in their bio to indicate that they adopt the method in their business dealings moniman. If and when they deliver I hope they get rewarded accordingly.

Excuse me for posting the bios of the BoD - thought it might be worth reflecting on the calibre at the helm - I expect them to be methodical and scientific in all things and that includes the negotiation with any large pharm when that takes place. Happy to wait until the news comes.

Dr. Trevor J. Nicholls, Ph.D., serves as Non-Executive Director of Hvivo Plc., since May 21, 2014. In particular, he was previously Chairman of Oxford Nanopore Technologies Limited, is currently Chairman of Avacta Group plc and was the Chairman of Activiomics Limited prior to its acquisition by hVIVO. Dr. Trevor Michael Phillips has been appointed as Executive Chairman of the Board of the Company., effective13 November 2017. He currently serves as Non-Executive Director of the Company. He has over thirty years' of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and has a proven track record in corporate development. He was previously Chief Operations Officer and President of US Operations, as well as a member of the Board, at Vectura Group plc. That is what the current SP movement brings to mind. We know it is a trick and an illusion ....just not sure what is keeping it up there though!
