If there was any doubt that this highly focused professional BoD were taking their foot off the gas with NC,s involvement then today's placing should have dispelled this and then some. In racing terms they are just moving up through the gears and there is so much more left in the tank! We are not talking about winning one race either.....there is world class champion written all over this story....

Lows....not loss.....Although I had that too when selling before I should have at one stage! As I said though...that's the game!

Would I be correct in saying that I am not alone in being a tadd excited at the prospects for the next couple of months here? I have experienced the highs and the loss here....I prefer the highs but that is the game we are playing!

A point made by other more knowledgeable posters than I but a point that makes absolute sense. We will get news from drill holes that are poor....and everyone should realise that is natural and frankly a certainty when defining boundaries. Do not let people point in isolation to these results and make sure you understand the context. I know this ABC to the majority but new investors need to be aware of what is coming and not get worried by the spin some will try.
Moving to macro economics you can only see gold appreciating in an ever increasing uncertain world and my comments are aimed globally.

Rup. A well quoted truth worth mentioning is that you do not lose or gain until you sell. This is a mining exploration company and by it's very nature is high risk. If you look at where the company is however and the diversified portfolio of targets, together with the contract with NC and the picture is very promising. Whether that translates into a paper or real profit for you will largely be down to market sentiment at the point in your timeframe you chose. One thing I am personally confident about however is that it will not be for the lack of effort from the BoD.

I have purposely not read any posts today for fear of being drawn into one of other position of point of view. I have been invested here for nearly 40 years and so I have the scars that some might share. For what it is worth here is my view. LBG is being lead by a forward thinking BoD. They are under no illusions as to the short and medium term challenges presented by Brexit but also the global economic situation. In times like this they are proceeding on a digital path to meet customer expectations whilst maintaining a means eye on asset quality and capital strengh. Banks are a necessity and whilst it is harder to make profit in a low interest rate environment this group continues to deliver shareholder returns. Remember what shareholder returns are....divs! People forget that as share price falls....it is the dividend that reflects the return to investors. Sure it is not guaranteed going forward but at over 6% currently and a company working hard to deliver against an ever increasing customer expectation and I for one am happy to ride out this latest storm in a teacup ....when viewed across the decades.

3 years to start seeing gold extracted from depth and processed (having been proven etc etc) does not seem like a long time imo but happy to be corrected by posters with industry knowledge. The positive impact of progression in the sp would of course happen in much shorter timelines if this pans out which I firmly believe it will. Do not get confused between monetisation and sp.

Lots of good and rational estimates for drill time and spend here today. I can not help but out my myself into a Newcrest board member seat and think that the best case scenario for my company is to synch the downturn in Telfer to the upturn in Haverion production, maximizing processing efficiency and a seamless transfer of skilled resource. So does that out us at the start of a 3 year countdown to monetisation?

If you are a genuine LTH you can watch any games for mild entertainment value and imo watch for any dips if you have additional money to invest. I wouldn't sweat it - even in these warm times!
