Lets face it - its a poorly worded RNS on this particular point but my understanding is that nothing is happening with the FDA giving the go ahead, so that decision is the one to look out for on the further study.

Someone making comments about serious investors and insto's - does anyone really think that serious investors or instos are loosing sleep at the moment? I can't imagine that there are decreasing their holdings at the moment. Appears to me they are happy to wait and see. Suspect it's the smaller more fickle private players that are getting bored and chasing other flavours of the day. Along side this just selling hoping for a cheaper buy in. Could be wrong of course.

I think you are going to be also wrong.

I know you have asked the question to Swamp - but if you are referring to finalising the funding deal, I think the answer is the length of time is probably going to be be faster than is the norm for the industry from start to finish. One has to remember that RM is not in control of the time line - I think I have done this topic to death in a previous post. If money was not object the company would no doubt have been able to employee a mass of experts to fast track - Caracal do not have that type of reserve - if they had we wouldn't need the money to fund the expansion.

I know that we only have words to go on and finalising can mean different things to different people - its all about perspective. The last interview gave very clear expected guidelines though for the finish line - Q1 2024 - and since that interview we have had a little turbo charge cash injection so we will have rolling start rather than a standing start.

I am still extremely optimistic for a fairy tale ending here.

Paul I think we all understand and share the frustration here. I suspect Robbie is just as frustrated at the speed of things. Thankfully the very thing that we are trying to get out of (suspension) is actually also supporting us at the same time in terms of freezing the share price. The delay would probably be sold into causing further angst and justifications for the derampers, creating additional downward spiral momentum.

I am looking forward to 2024 - this year is being chalked up to experience and learning in my eyes for all. Its been a painful exercise but what doesn't kill you....

Do I understand correclty that we are expecting 2 pieces of news this quarter - Chart 7 results and confirmation that the FDA have approved the short study for more frequent dosing as per RNS 19/9...quote

in parallel with the completion of cohort 7, the Company intends to begin a short study to explore more frequent dosing (fortnightly) of AVA6000 as a first line treatment in patients with soft tissue sarcoma. The study is expected to begin in Q4 2023 subject to receipt of approval of a protocol amendment from the US Food & Drug Administration (FDA).

Stick with these and form your view.

I’m excited for what might be here.

There are a lot of days left in this quarter for expected results which could drop on any one of them.

If not I am hoping for sometime this quarter but it is an expectation and not a cast iron guarantee. That could be today. tomorrow or next month in my book.

Not influencing me.....

I'm new to this board - all I am learning at the moment though is that there is a lot of hostility between some posters. That's a pity....

Don't be put off by the numbers at the start of the presentation although they do give comfort in terms of being funded well into next year. The real messages that this delivers to my non medical ear, is that the real potential here is in the platform delivery of the drug and who knows what other drugs in the future. The presentation is in layman's terms that even I understand and frankly its hugely exciting from an investment perspective but even more so when we think of the potential benefits to friends and family and ourselves for future treatments. Such a good presentation in my view.

Let market players do what they want in the short term - science looks like the long term winner here.

Watcher - you are loosing all credibility I,m afraid to say in my eyes if you continue with posts like this....

- to keep the lights on - NO - to kick restart the growth plans ahead of the main funding in Q1

-it buys time - NO - it brings timelines forward

- would we have seen an increase today? Who knows - probably not given this is being traded at the moment - but this is not a one day play its a mining operation

- healthy scepticism - it would be great if you had a balanced voice to add to your scepticism and preferably backed by facts

- PREM - this is a GCAT site - as far as I know the only correlation is that both companies operate in Africa - there are a lot of countries in Africa and a lot of companies in those countries - what is the relationship to GCAT?

Not sure if you are invested Watcher or what your motivation is here. I know some people genuinely get pleasure out of getting a rise out of others. That may or may not be you.

I think that most LTH's here have a pretty balanced view of the company and the BoD. We acknowledge that there have been issues in the past with comms and many lessons have been learned over the last 18 months by all stake holders here. But I think most of us can also see the efforts that the BoD are going to, to turn the situation around and get the company back on track. For those that still have not listened to Robbie's latest interview I think it's a must. It really was an insightful glimpse into the issues that have been faced into as well as the actions being taken now. Not only were the lights kept on but bulbs changed and previously dark areas illuminated such as the new high grade zone. Full on, eco friendly floodlights being constructed now and we will see the company in a whole new light in 2024. In my opinion there is an extremely bright future here.

Enough of my analogies!
