Not sure whether this adds value as there doesn't appear to be any recent updates but thought I would share for those that might be interested.

Regrettably because at the moment the money playing with money has absolutely no interest in this as an investment or benefit for mankind - just a vehicle to try and make more money today.

Beinthelead - interesting - what evidence is there? If there was evidence and it was supplied to both Avacta and the FCA, pressure might be brought to bear to put the record straight. If the company wished they could obtain a listing of their share register and prompt action themselves but still up to Conifer at the end of the day to comply with the FCA requirement. Not sure what if any teeth the FCA have in the event of non compliance.

Agreed - the herd instinct can be strong when the price falls - its difficult to do sometimes but well worth avoiding watching the SP movement in the first hour of trading as it can play with your common sense.

The missing pieces for me at the moment is an anticipated time line for next steps other than a vague reference to 2024 and any reference to the FDA. Hopefully we will hear more on these items shortly.

The base threshold for a TR1 is 3% - thereafter every time a full 1% is crossed - eg 4, 5, 6% etc - either way these are crossed.

TR1 reporting is very simple and the onus is on the holder to update via an FCA portal. They are then required to share the output with the company who then update the market via RNS. Its that simple but requires the holder to take the initial action.
