Thanks steward1 and other responders - some great balanced thoughts in all of the posts and certainly being a chap of a certain age with too much time on my hands, there was a lot of things that resonated with my own thoughts. Just to be clear I had no underlying question or observation with HE1 although I do believe that there is huge potential here and my toe is in the water.

As an aside I had asked a specific HE1 related question for feedback the other day and that is whether anyone knew of a Lassonde Curve equivalent for Helium stocks but I don't think there was any feedback on that question.... any thoughts?

As a veteran observer of investor behaviour, postings and SP movement I am fascinated how certain stocks get the volume of attention they do, whilst other stocks lay almost forgotten. I feel certain that traders are attracted by the volatility and not the underlying potential of the business but in the chicken and egg scenario just how does this swathe of momentum start? It is just a few posters who then cross ramp and then a snowball effect or something else?

Genuine question and apologies not being stock specific but the AIM game is in the main about investor behaviour in my view and not trading fundamentals which is left to the institutional investors. The more you understand the game, the better you can play it in my view.

I am new to this stock - I am sure I am not the only new investor following recent gains. I am more familiar with gold stocks and I have a question for investors familiar with Helium exploration - is there any correlation with the Lassonde curve theory for price movement here?

I did try some limited searching on the web and stumbled upon a news story from last year on HE1 - not related to Lassonde and I am sure it was posted here many times but I thought it might be useful background for newbies like me.

If we lived in a bubble I would agree that economic theory would say that interest rates are likely to fall and have a consequential positive impact on the market. But we don't live in a bubble and like it or not are intrinsically linked to global factors. The uncertainty caused by several geopolitical current and potential hot spots around the world, to my mind add a large degree of uncertainty to any forward view on market movement. I have no idea how the herd (general markets) will run over coming months but my fear is that it will only take one event such as a hot war over Taiwan or involving Iran and the market movement will be swift and severe.

We live in interesting times - and that is not a good thing.

Time to be cautious in most investments in my view.

Non execs purchasing - always nice to see.

With such volatility and interest for me this is one to watch in the first hour rather than deal. Each to their own but easy to get carried away in the moment - calm heads and wait for the dust to settle to try and see the direction of travel. Easy to get spiked in the short term.

Never seen such interest in a stock here before.

Going to be another educational day!

Apologies is this has already been talked about - 34 mins in they talk about AVCT and includes reference to AVA3396 and a forthcoming American presentation in April - do we know more details of quote "the relevant meeting" - I wasn't sure whether he stopped himself from saying something that he shouldn't have in terms of the meeting.

Love this company - all business and science.

As you would expect with any scientific endeavour they are following a systematic approach to the science and I suspect a similar methodical approach to ticking all regulatory boxes and evaluating business interests in their technology. That approach does not need to include a line by line update to the world on progress - indeed there are many reasons why only achieved milestones are communicated.

I am very happy with the silence - they are getting on with the tasks in hand.

I’m done with the negativity on this board and done with posting for some time. All I have tried to do was take a step back and look at the information and try and piece things into some sort of view. I’ll keep my views to myself for the time being.

"The Caracal and Kilimapesa exploration teams have always believed that significant high-grade zones exist within the Kilimapesa Hill deposit. As we open and expand the open cast mining pits, to support the expansion project, we expect to find more of these zones. The potential size of this high-grade zone is encouraging, and is further confirmation and validation of our understanding of the Kilimapesa Hill deposit and our development strategy. We have had a plan to expand the MRE on the Kilimapesa Hill deposit. The plan includes additional drilling along strike and at depth. The identification and extent of this high-grade zone now adds a 3rd leg to the drilling strategy.

Does that make it sufficiently clear?. I have referenced the appropriate RNS. They are going to do additional drilling - existing drilling is insufficient to expand the MRE on the hill and that includes the HGZ. Its not a done deal but they clearly have confidence to want to drill further when funds permit. Is that clear enough? I would not want to mislead anyone.

The known deposits are the recognised JORC deposits are the new high grade zone identified but yet to be drilled sufficiently as far as I know to be considered JORC compliant.

I am fairly sure they have other areas to target exploration - I’m sure if you go digging you will discover more info (excuse the pun … or not).

Itsyou - Im not sure he joined Marula today although the RNS has JB welcoming him to the team. Maybe it was an internal promotion or maybe he was just a consultant for them back in October last year? Check out their twitter feed around that time and he is there front and centre. Also curiously he does not quote Caracal in his CV - I wonder why?

Anyway - enough of a former director and his new company - this is a GCAT board and we have had our own news via Twitter today so Im happy.

Its not a huge secret that the exploration side of operations has been put on the back burner until the funds are there to resume the drilling programme - everything is being focused on production and infrastructure around known deposits. So no huge surprise that a geo has joined another company as I doubt his services have been needed for several months. I suspect that this will change with funding in the fullness of time and another geo appointed to help expand the JORC resource.

Another excavator arrives on site and continued progress is reported.

In the meantime we can debate and pontificate behind our screens.

Hi Legalwolf - in regards to moving goalposts you can look at this in a number of ways. You could put this down to incompetence and / or a lack of clear direction OR you can attribute this to a company reacting and adapting to circumstances.

When OCIM walked it was always highly likely that there would be some form of dilution but the fact is that the money generated has not only given the company invaluable breathing space to look to other funding opportunities, but it has also allowed the company to move forward in their strategic goals - just look to the revamped mill / the road infrastructure being put in place and the new earth movers by way of examples. Changing plans is par for the course in most organisations frankly from my experience. No company can stand still for long in this world.

In terms of your question on debt funding - the RNS notifications have been clear - Muller benefitted via his company for the first raise in July but no mention in the second raise and given they would have needed to disclose then we can only assume not. I am personally very disappointed with the payout for the first raise but thats just my view. I will be more than disappointed if we see any payouts with regards any future funding but I am doubtful that this would happen as it would be an investor PR disaster for the company in my view.
