WyBasedhere2help - personally I has no point of reference on what is a long time when it comes to analysing data. Time is relative as we all know and I can't help but feel like the old adage of watching a kettle boil, that holders here are looking at this from a very different perspective than is actually achievable. The company will want to ensure that results stand the closest of external scrutiny and also remember that the company aren't following a standard blue print here in interpretation. The other thing to keep in mind is that the company will want to put out news asap as well but it has to correct.

Swervington - you are 100% correct - there is an excellent reason why - because they are still analysing all of the data - just listen to Lorna's interview - not sure she could have explained in any clearer language which was phrased in such a way that it made sense on a non technical level.

I have no industry knowledge and therefore my thought process is rudimentary and just trying to apply common sense.

If I was looking at this data and trying to interpret I would be trying to look from all angles after coming up with an initial view. Trying to look through the eyes of an independent reviewer - looking for flaws or errors in the data. Maybe even splitting the analysis team in 2 if they had those numbers and expertise and create an initial Chinese wall to see what they respective teams arrive at and then challenge each other. I am probably over egging the scenario here but one thing has to be for sure and that with Lorna’s background she will know that her reputation will be on the line in the quality of the interpretation- career defining milestones. I am confident therefore that future announcements will stand external scrutiny and form the bedrock for strategic monetisation discussions with 3rd parties. Happy to give the company all the time it needs to get to this point.

The recent interview is worth several revisits. At 2.45 in Lorna talks about well data, flow data and logging data all of which needs to be understood and interpreted. I look at it like a 5000 piece jigsaw and no picture to go by. It’s going to take some time to construct and maybe there will be a few pieces missing but you get the drift.

Please correct me if I am wrong but I thought that they have the data but it is the interpretation of the data that is complex and will take the time. Anyone with industry experience here that can add value?

They have data - they are now evaluating the numbers. Not a simple process as she points out.

If I am reading the situation correctly they were confident going into this exploration and the numbers have surpassed their expectations - leading to a need change their mindset as to how to proceed. Nice predicament for the company and ergo investors imo.

Thanks for responding PubCrawl - like you I take no comfort from looking backwards on charts to try and read the leaves for a forward view. I was just asking as a general question for all stocks really but particularly with AIM where placings are a common occurrence and so to try and understand the movement in investor sentiment it would be great to have a true reflection of the trend of the MC value over time.

However there are lots of posts here that smell very fishy.

My version of a Chinese quote

- give a fish a response and they will feed on it all day

- filter the fish and don't be bothered by them again.

There are a few bits of advice that I would offer people new to buying shares. Nothing that hasn't been said a thousand times by others:

1. Never ever invest more than you can afford to lose in full

2. Never invest money that you need in the next 5 to 10 years

3. Do you own research - yes you can be guided to sources on boards like this but always independently verify claims.

If you have stuck to the first 3 points then you don't need to worry about peaks and troughs in the SP.

At the moment we are moving up which is marvellous but we all know that can change quickly. As for getting caught on a peak - well you would have to be extremely unlucky to be left on that peak for ever and that is why TIME is one of your best investing friends - if the fundamentals are right TIME normally is a great remedy.

Now back to enjoying todays rise so far.

Not sure about the indecision statement.

Looking at the SP alone can be misleading. For context I would suggest looking at the stock on the London Stock Exchange website and look at the chart. You can add all sorts of indicators to overlay the price but a useful one for me is the volume. You can see the reduction in recent days. Less volume reflects less interest in trading and typically this means that people are holding or possibly trying to outplay a falling price. Thats my take on it anyway. Positive news should in theory see a renewed interest in new money or perhaps old money returning for the next climb.

As with most things in life context is everything.

I think that we would be fooling ourselves to think that discussion, debate and well lets just call it banter as a euphemism here, is going to change anyones mind here or alter whether they express positive or negative sentiment to this stock. Only tangible news via an RNS supplemented by more colour and explanation in subsequent media presentations has a chance of doing that.

In the meantime this board (like most boards to be frank) and the current SP movements feels like a congested, bad weather drive into work - frustrating, never ending and potentially down right annoying especially if you have to do the school run as well and the kids didn't sleep well last night, bickering in the back.

So I recommend choosing a good radio station, smile and let the driver in front pull out in front of you, knowing it will not impact on the arrival time of your journey and concentrate on the good things in your life.

Lorna and her team have been working on this project for some considerable time - the news might still be relatively recent for us but the journey has been ongoing for some considerable time. Plenty of time for the team to consider the future possible strategic directions that this could go. So try to forget about the current SP movements unless you are brave enough to try and trade and enjoy the day in the knowledge that there is a hard working team in the background focused on making you money.

Just doing some digging on the internet about Helium and stumbled upon this company who believe they have also found a world class Helium discovery. I only bring to the attention of this board given the similarities in % concentration and the timings - their presentations give some interesting global Helium perspectives and possibly another comparable for our company as the journey unfolds, albeit they are on a different continent.

For those that are relatively new to investing its worth remembering that the key number is the market capitalisation. Its not the SP or the number of the shares in issue in isolation - its the factor of the 2.

Basics.

I have often repeated this advice over the years, but for those of a nervous disposition and if you strongly believe in the potential here, then you might want to stop watching the day to day and intraday movements and this board frankly. Set up an RNS alert - you can set up for free on the London Stock Exchange - and then wait for you inbox to ping with the next official news. Short term price movements can create uncertainty and unnecessary angst and sometimes lead you to take actions you later regret. Know yourself and protect yourself accordingly.

With some of the gains already achieved and in anticipation of hopefully more gains to come, some here might want to brush up on the UK's CGT limits and ways to avoid!

RogerJolly - I agree any buyout must be agreed by shareholders but not so sure about a JV? I could be wrong.
