BasilAlderman - you have taken 2 different companies - one a diagnostics company and the other a gold producer and then used the history of their SP movement to arrive at a future MC for HE1.

I am genuinely not trying to be rude when I have to say that I think your logic is flawed.

A valuation based on what though? Given this was also in 2021 just where was this figure plucked from I wonder?

Just reading some of the recent posts got me thinking to what is the value here and how can it be assessed. I came to the personal conclusion that there is no one definitive answer. A few of the possible components however that will change in composition and proportion as time passes:

- in the ground value when there is sufficient industry accepted data to quantify commercial volumes and can be included in the balance sheet

- price of helium and any other commercial gas extraction -current and future

- cost of extraction and logistics for distribution

- consideration for any geopolitical risks

- world economic scenarios impacting demand (and ergo price)

- sentiment - investor demand - the big question

- Institutional versus private investor demand

- forecast view on future possible dividend policy

- Funding / JV terms

I think I have only touched the surface and left out many considerations. So when I see people trying to read the tea leaves by reflecting on where the market capitalisation was a few years ago, I have to take my hats off to them - the equation is too complex for me to take any kind of stab at a future MC / SP.

I do think it is highly likely to be significantly north of where it is today though and so I am in!

Hey RogerJolly - I am certainly with you on the facts statement.

On that subject I have been trying to find the broker target that has been quoted as 20p dated 25 Feb 2024. I personally can't find one - can anyone?

The last I can find reference for is dated 230621 from Canaccord Genuity for 21p.

Casan - you might want to watch the video again from 9 mins if you need reminding of next steps. Little to nothing in Lorna's long to do list that is going to be impacted by the wet season. Lots of desk top evaluation, conversations and strategic planning. Buckets of pending news and non of it weather dependent in the short term.

Agreed - also give her and the company broad realistic timeframes to manage your own expectations. Constant posts about news next week or a price expectation of X within a short timeframe are unhelpful and just creates false hope of early price gains. Unique finds of global importance don't come with an established play book. Let Lorna and the team have the time and space to write it.

I think the time has come for admin to review the posts here for the well being of the board as well as the poster themselves. It has become worrying frankly.

Amee - for what it is worth, my read on the current SP movement is not reflective of the potential - but a feature of a highly prospective discovery attracting huge interest, which is turn attracts the big money traders who understand how to manipulate group fear and greed and the subsequent euphoria and paranoia that ensures. If the data released by subsequent RNSs are as we hoped there will be further surges forward in the SP and a rinse repeat cycle starts again, with the usual exaggerated claims on short term SP movements. Study the game and movements become more predictable in broad brush terms as you see it repeated across different stocks but will of course be news flow dependent - silence creates uncertainty and instability. The company will I am sure be looking to keep a steady news flow over the coming weeks and months - RNSs followed by a flurry of media interviews no doubt.

I am not wanting to minimise the interest in the small price movements - I am equally interested - but I can't help but feel that in 12 months time or sooner we will be talking about whole pence movements and not the fractions we are observing at the moment.

....maybe....but if I consider what lies at the heart of Banking - customer service - then I am not so sure. The rate of deskilling amongst the workforce at the moment is alarming. If society want the equivalent complete self service financial management then it will be fine and I acknowledge we are already a long way down that road. But for me there will always be a need to be able to talk to someone who actually understands your needs and that they might not always fit into the convenient product silos. Maybe I am too old and maybe there is a space in the market for the more personal touch that I personally valued. After many years - Lloyds is certainly not what it was - regrettably.

The other point is that it's clear to me that the company are taking notice of posts here - she was at pains to address the issue of the independent lab on site. She and the company clearly have their finger on the pulse of investor debate here.

Worth a second and third listen - second time around it was the hydrogen element that caught my ear - almost like a gold mine where the purity of gold would be greater if it wasn't for the diamonds that are present!
