Hi ID - I would have to listen to the whole interview again but would encourage you to do so if you haven’t already. I was driving whilst listening and might have missed a few things but I think Robbie laid out in a lot of detail the journey with timelines and background context. One of the requirements of the funder was a revised mining plan and these things obviously take time if you are engaging 3rd parties. These are specialists and not waiting for a call to start the next day, so it all takes time and that just to get them engaged before field visits, analysis, clarification and dialogue.

As for waiting for the POG from memory this was economical on a previous plan at 1350 and of course we haven’t been anywhere near there and given world economics I think the forward POG estimates for mining purposes will be rewritten upwards in the next year or so - purely my personal view. So I’m discounting any hanging around from either the funder or GCAT - I just think that the mining industry moves slowly. I actually think that if we go from no funder to drawn funds in the millions within 15 months is probably at the quick end of finance timelines.

Hi ID - just listened again from around 20 mins in - it will close in the first quarter - he then goes on to say that they will try and close it as early as possible in that quarter.

Best just to go with 1st quarter I guess until we here otherwise.

Hi Swampmonster. Hopefully it will be less time - supposition on my part but I think he said early in Q1 so maybe even Jan / Feb. Hopefully the plan will firm up and we get to hear. I suspect it’s a waste of time getting the funding over Christmas even if that was an option. It’s getting exciting again.

Fallenmadona - I read your post with interest and have a lot of sympathy with you high level observation. What wasn’t made clear to me is what category you have put the GCAT board into and on what evidence please?

A curiously low number of posts following last nights excellent, positive and revealing interview but then again there is just so much to digest with a very full hour and about 30 questions asked. Interested to read others thoughts but I for one was very happy with the answers given. Lots of stand outs but the one that has me going back to my excel spreadsheet is Robbie's explanation as to how he will be targeting the magic 24K oz per annum......underlines the conservative nature of the independent plan but I am getting ahead of myself!

Good to see the one element that Robbie has absolutely no influence over playing it's part - POG - $1987 as I type - that reminds me - where is that spreadsheet?!

Can - he covered so much - there were 30 odd questions and he spoke for an hour. For my money he covered in depth many if not all the questions that people have been asking here. A must listen for any existing or potential investor

If you follow the StickBox twitter link into the TG group then someone has already posted a recording there.

I think we just need to be careful about the word secured - it’s as a secure as it can be prior to legal agreements being signed unless I missed something. It does sound extremely positive for a successful conclusion though. I think Robbie genuinely tried to give as much detail as he could on very probing questions and there was a lot of background and context which was fantastic.

Purely looking at the independent numbers and the 3 year free cashflow number.

If I use a POG of 1950 it increases from $31.7M (POG $1700) to $44M

Who knows where the POG will be in the next few years.

The POG is obviously conservative at $1700 but so are other numbers in here.

Current MC £5.6M ($£6.77M)

Hopefully nothing contencious here assuming the independent company have it right.

Watcher - when I say I need more detail I mean facts please with numbers and the RNS date.

Targets are targets - not cast iron promises.

I do get it Legalwolf - I would encourage you to ask that very question. I have no idea but all I do know is that when you are dealing with multiple 3rd parties you are never completely in control and issues can arise that you were not award of at the start. I think it goes under the heading of sh*t happens. I suspect that is why we are not getting firm timelines now for the accounts for example - because things happen that are outside of your control and once you start talking timelines then understandably you are held to them. I suspect being a CEO is a tough job - market cries out for information and dates - you do your best to let them know your thoughts at that time - something happens and times slip - you then get bashed. It can be just be a case of you just can't win. Who would be a CEO? not me

Lets see what the man has to say later and how we feel on reflection tomorrow.

Your post made me smile - using your analogy - no I wouldn't take her back and neither would I stalk her on the internet - I would simply walk away and forget her.....

I work in facts and official news releases. The fact is I have not seen evidence that Robbie has lied. Maybe I missed something?

Back to using your analogy - is it a case if you can't have her, you don't want anyone else to either? If you believe Robbie has lied then why hang around? There are plenty of fish in the sea as they say - and lots of junior gold miners as well.

As for everything rosey and honky dopey - not quiet, I have been invested in Caracal for long enough to have a real bloody nose at the moment - but I am optimistic that this will all come good.

sono***un - no idea but valid question - please make sure you send in that question and lets see if robbie answers it.

Folio - from what we have heard, OCIM added an 11th hour condition precedent which could not be legally achieved therefore scuppered the deal. They have a lot to answer for..
