I wonder whether the CFP will be the trigger for a major to launch a bid. If NM sidelines the big investors and shows that he can circumvent all the majors, that may annoy them sufficiently to think that if they don’t get in soon, Solgold will have diluted their interest in Alpala through streaming, royalties etc etc

Mickey, you need to work out who owns and runs Prim now. It aint AC any more. So what are they going to do with Prim now they have liquidated their biggest asset. My bet is on liquidating the rest and distributing the cash which for some reason is still trading at a whopping discount. Prim holders may make some money out of the narrowing discount but they have lost their exposure to GGP.
It was always a rubbish way into GGP and now its not even that!

Napthman, that’s not borne out by the numbers. If you look on the MVIS website it says how much is tracking the index. It got up to $8b. It’s now $7b.
