You got to hope that CGP continue to be thick as mince and reject the offer, then they wont get a free, undeserved slice of all the other prospects. I would then let them stew, do loads more royalty deals and hive off Cascabel into a SPV, and prove up the prospects.

Seems that 40p is a bit of a block atm. News of drilling having less of an impact now. Next to move the market is drilling results but will those be in next 7 days?
If CGP dont accept the deal (which is now so attractive for them), I would go back to them at the first opportunity with a worse deal, and then a worse deal after that. This is truly the gift horse they are looking at in the mouth. I wonder what the sp will be before BHP bids?

why would anyone sell, at any price, at the moment when Oct 15th is just over a week away? Just shows how ill informed, or plain stupid, people are at the margin of any share.
