Bamps, it might be deminimus in the scheme of things but I think that NC will end up paying a lot more than $65myn for Hav. If the PFS isnt until end next year, then all of next years expense is for their account. It was a min $65myn spend after all.

For many , its not so much a price target as a sum of money target, which gives them the right to achieve financial aspirations. But for others, where those dreams have already been met, the target should be whenever GH thinks its time to cash in. Why? Because he knows more about this company and its value then the sum of all the smart people on here.

Iceberg, you can make that price analysis. You can also say it gone nowhere in 2-3 years despite all the news. You can say its down from this years high, last years high and less than half the all time high.
Your Porvenir price analysis is nonsense. It went from 27 to 43 and back to 31. Now 37. The share price performance has been a disaster.
Gold has rallied enormously, Copper is within a smidge of Solgolds budgetted price, which is a recent high and silver is up loads too. Yet the share price performance is awful. And thats why (the history), the takeout price wont be what people hope.
I agree that there is lots of news to come but is there any news that will change this company's share price performance? Cos history would suggest nothing short of a bid will do much now.

I can assure that I would be delighted if it were true as I have a bundle of these things, but unless Porvenir and Rio Amarillo have quantifiable masses of copper/gold, some will be disappointed.

Optimus, tightly held would often suggest that the price would rally significantly on good news and fall marginally on bad news. But it doesnt it just drifts around. If 1% of the shares are being traded/churned for every tick or two, that would also suggest there are just no buyers when there is good news.
This is a fascinating share but for all the wrong reasons. Its illiquid, involatile, cheap as chips and has no investors champing to get in. Presumably thats just how the big holders like it, otherwise they would do something about it.

The first bid, if there is a bid, will not be more than twice the share price at the time. It almost never is. I think it might be only 1.5 times which would be more ‘normal’. And for those that say Solgold is different, it isn’t, its just another cheap, unloved share on the stock market.

Floater I do t want to be overly pedantic but this will end up costing NC a lot more than $65m. Phase three will continue for most of 2021 even though NC has probably already gone through the min spend. Those 12 rigs and hav camp, will chew up a chunk of change....

If you know that you know what you are talking about, then maybe people don’t need advice. But if you are in anyway unsure pay for proper advice. Don’t be penny wise and pound foolish.
I still seek tax advice as the law is constantly changing and it’s not my area of expertise. I know that I don’t know enough to make big decisions.

Morning quady. Rules are different when the company is defined as being in a bid situation. You seem to be ignoring this fact.

Sorry to be somewhat late to the party, but glad I missed last nights nonsense. My exit strategy is fairly simple although not easy. I will start to lighten up when either the share price factors in all known news, or the sum of money becomes significant enough to create life changing financial opportunities.
