Hi Speedy/Jack. Just read your message (I am miles behind). I think there may be a degree of front running next week, as we will have tonights news, but to front run a rumour with so much time for other events to affect the sp, is I think uber risky. Not one I would take as a (retired) trader. Depending on the amount involved I would think maybe Weds onwards.

If the market thought that Solgold were to go it alone the sp would crater as the risk would rise exponentially. As many have said here, the company has zero experience in building a mine. Massive delays and cost overruns would ensue. NM and the board would be a laughing stock.
ATM the board know that and are just saying what few believe, that they will be miners. If I thought for one moment that they were going to be miners I would dump my shares asap.
One of the most important things in life is to know what you are good and not good at. I dont believe that level of hubris has infected NM yet. If I thought there was a chance, I wouldnt have voted for him.
CGP and Solgold have the same desires, just that one is a little more more subtle.
The problem is he doesnt appear to be warming any bids up. Time will tell.

No large organisation would front run an order that hasn’t been clarified in size or price over a week before the order execution. The risk would be massive., and this time they would be nursing large losses which might take some explaining. PIs maybe, but they are peanuts in the scheme of things...

AP is getting the shares down to my buy level. The only disappointing thing about that is that its probably his buy level too.

Why would Solgold drill a prospect that it has never mentioned before (to my knowledge) in a licence where it only has 85% ownership?
Is it to appease CGP?

You can move from AIM to main listing anytime. But it costs low single digits millions, so thats a lot of drilling foregone. You cant move into a main index like FTSE250 unless you have a premium listing and you cant have a premium listing unless you have ordinary income.
I think GH sees money being spent drilling as a better way of spending our money....

Evening all. So Eliza told me that the reason why there was no announcement re la hueca was cos it didn’t meet the threshold of materiality now that they were a bigger company. But this RNS on poorveneer, is material? Don’t think so.
Which means that la hueca is a duster...

Mushy, the indices are not mutually exclusive so they could be in both, but I would be surprised (very pleasantly) if GGP went into the GDX this month. GDX is much bigger I think so the buying, if and when it came, would be significant, if not enormous...

Hi Speedy again. I said quasi miner cos I am not sure that being a 25/30% stakeholder in a mine where you arent the operator, really qualifies you as a miner. I dont want GGP to go any further than they are as a quasi miner. If GH has a brain fade and decides to mine scally at 100%, I think I will be long gone.

Speedy I have re sent them to GH just to see if he wanted to answer them, but ran out of time. If he chooses not to answer them I will publish them, with permission from the other two scribes.
