Red you are a good person, I know that from over there. I didn’t see your post but if you repeat it, slightly differently worded, then I shall answer it.
I would say that generally we welcome diverse views if they are constructive and not with an agenda. Plus it helps if you are an investor.

Evening quady, I was referring generically to all the posted documents that have been discovered. So application for licence to mine, ground prep, ecological studies etc etc. Maybe in Ecuador there isn’t a requirement for such stuff but considering the Galapagos I would think they might be quite stringent.

MF11. The MVIS website says there is $7.6b following the index. GDXJ is obviously the largest but in theory the other trackers should buy in a similar way to GDXJ.

Afternoon gents. You may or may not want to do this... but over on the ggp site there are some links to the western Australian bureau of mines (think that’s what it’s called). Lots of depositions from newcrest for all the supporting dox they have to submit to get a mining licence etc etc. Now it’s quite likely that Ecuador aren’t so rigorous in what they want to see, but who do you think is capable of this level of work in solgold?
I expect that your answer will be we will hire in contractors to do this? Anyone in mind who has the knowledge of Ecuador, language, culture, mine construction, ecological effect etc etc etc??
It’s a substantial body of work, to add to the pfs, dfs etc, which they are struggling with at the moment.

For the record I have been a shareholder for over 3 years. That in my book is quite a long time, but maybe not for others. But you dont get extra shares for holding them for longer.
I would classify a JV as a (partial) sale so that would be acceptable.
I have heard all the arguments and there are two camps, the one led by Addicknt and Redknight and the others with a few nuanced positions somewhat in the middle. I doubt whether anyone will persuade people into changing their mind. So its all a bit redundant really.
But I do like strongly held views and passion, so when its not personal and abusive, but educational, then I guess everyone can repeat their positions over and over again, if thats what they see as a good use of their time.
I try to post less and less here as you know my position and I know yours.

The other point is that I backed NM cos I thought it was a battle between him and CGP and he is marginally less odious. Now I know that the battle is between production and sale, I am backing sale. Ok?

Smickster thats true some might feel inclined to vote for him. I just think that most PIs think their vote is a waste of time. Now they know it isnt. If they want change (either in direction or leadership) they have a real chance to effect that change. People like me who are fed up to the back teeth with NM, will change their vote.
Maybe it will just get more people to vote, but my 2.5m will switch from in favour to against.

If there was another vote today (which I fully understand there wont be) I wonder how the voting would go? I think there are many of us PIs who would now vote against NM.
Of course he could (and should) have said in a CEO address that he will take on board the voting and be in discussions with the board and the major shareholders on a way forward. But he didnt because he has arrogance beyond belief.

DBW, exactly how will he dilute the crap out of NC and BHP? He cant and thats the beauty of special resolutions.

Hi Spy, I think that this maybe over my head though I do listen to lots of podcasts from Sprott, KE, Silver Doctors etc. Some talk about a confiscation of gold and what that would mean for silver (one of the reasons why I have a lot of silver). If gold hits say $5000 the there will need to be some serious conversations. At the moment its at the margin.
I cant see much chance of getting all the world to agree on something like BW2, or having fixed e/rates.
Speedy, our resident bullion man, might have a clearer view? I suspect they might have to shoot him to get hold of his prized Brits...
