SAS, CEO’s always have to regularly present to instos. In fact some instos have a rule that they don’t invest till they have been to at least two presentations.
So not every presentation means a fund raising, in fact only a small percentage are for that. I would guess that ceos do at least four a year.
Why does he keep banging on about instos? Because they can buy a hundred million shares, as opposed to 100,000. And they will be the future buyers not the PIs. Plus he has come from a larger corporation where the instos were much more important than the PI.
