Totally agree RK. If you listen or read the recent interview Bristow did with Kitco, it would suggest that porphry copper projects with gold, or the other way round, are what Barrick want and need. They want to double their copper profile from 10-20%.

This appointment reinforces my opinion that NC have told GGP that if they want to be JV partners they had better contribute. So GH was replaced with SD and the exploration team was beefed up, and now we have a mining engineer who is both known to NC and has experience of Telfer. We are ticking their boxes. All seems pretty good to me.

Bozi, I have heard over the past 6 months, June, 3 months, a couple of weeks, imminent. They missed all of these (unless you use Mather's interpretation of Imminent!).

Bozi/CD et al. I dont think that Solgold have made things up and I do think they probably believed, given a fair wind, that they may have achieved some of their prognostications. I just dont think they had (or have?) the experience that qualifies them to make these claims. Which perhaps is even more of a worry.
So get them to make some small targets that they can achieve and get the community back on side. I would have thought it would be a lot easier to hire a good ceo than it would be to know when they will build a mine, but they have missed that target too. Over promising and under delivering is never going to win friends - or investors. If I was a non exec at Solgold I would be going ballistic at the management.

Morning Addicknt. I dont think the market believes anything that Solgold says, given the delays, broken promises etc. It appears the market is saying 'prove it, then I will believe you'. Can you blame them?

Morning Quady. If it isnt dilutive it must be accretive. Should I presume that all the other placings which created such a diverse book, are also accretive? If so would you like to buy my shares at an accretive 50p?

The clause allowing for a further 5% to be bought by NC shows at what stage the negotiations could take place. Ie not before the pfs. It doesn’t say that they have to take place then and I don’t think the option has an end date. The fair market value will be calculated by an independent expert.
However if NC haven’t defined the boundaries, or if there are secondary deposits discovered, there is no way an expert could possibly come up with a value that would be satisfactory to both parties. Of course there could be some extremely complex formula that allows for changes in the ultimate resource but it my opinion the 5% may be some time away from being able to be calculated to the satisfaction of all. It will be an asset from the date of the pfs and I am sure can borrowed against but I don’t think it will be sold soon.
So, zoros’ date of 2025 may be right.

Sandgrounded. Not sure what you mean by who pays? They are issued by ggp to pac trends. That’s why the fully diluted includes the 145m.
Of course NC don’t pay, it’s not their liability.
Any buyer of ggp would assume the liability. Any buyer of ggps share of hav would not, unless ggp transferred the liability with the asset.
IMO by the time there has been a formal decision to mine, there will be plenty of instos desperate for shares and only too willing to take them off pac trends hands.
The only contingency is that it’s in the fully diluted number which any sane person should be using.

Obviously I watched the fantastic NC presentation earlier. Solgold hardly got a mention (half a sentence) so I think that NC do not see themselves being involved in Solgold long term. Its BHPs if they want it.
