Morning Diva. Thanks for your advice but I will stand by my opinion that it’s foolish to use a broker like 212. And as for the previous poster last night who has a daughter with a first, well I guess it wasn’t in investing.
But everyone makes mistakes along the way, as I have done many a time. But I make fewer as I get older and one mistake I didn’t make was using 212.
These ‘free lunch’ brokers are just another bunch of snake oil salesmen preying on the young and inexperienced. IMO!

Bablake. That wasn’t my intention. But free trading is never free, and facilitating shorting is pretty daft if you are a buyer.
None of my shares can be borrowed to my knowledge.

People who use 212 are just seduced by the ‘free’ trading tag. It ain’t free. Why would it be? In fact they are the antithesis of free as they use your purchase to facilitate someone with the opposite view. They make money from your ‘free’ trade and keep the lot. So it’s not free and it works against you. I would say people who use 212 are very stupid, but I could be charitable and say they are very naive…
I prefer stupid.

Bbg, such a shame that Telis Mistakidis has retired as head of copper for Glencore as he used to work for me many years ago. I am sure I could have had a word. Sadly all the other glencore guys I knew have also retired now. One of the problems with getting old…..

Addicknt, I think they are just being prudent and of course they will get the best price if they do all the things you would expect a producer to do. Any buyer won’t be worried Solgold will be mining unless they look and sound like a miner….

The great thing is that the second MRE will probably include some drilling up to this October and could include the ‘remarkable’ results so far. So a nice big uplift in the MRE which will lead to the brokers having that as their base case and some blue sky numbers of much much more. I am going for 10-12 at MRE and brokers talking 15-20 soon after that. But that is only the start….
