To believe that there are delays with the decline you would need to know what was budgeted for at this stage. My information is that the decline is on schedule. It’s just that it starts slowly slowly and then ramps up when through the baby poo.

CD. You are starting to dig yourself into a bit of a hole here. You might want to start with the different geographies and political risk. Then you might want to look at the growth drilling of newcrest at havieron. Brokers suggest 12m ozs already nailed on and more than one ceo have suggested 20m ozs and 1m tons of copper. Then you could look at the satellite imagery of the greater havieron area and the potential elsewhere in the region some of which ggp have stakes in.
I reckon 30-40m ozs is probable but there are greater minds than mine that say that too.
Trouble is when you venture into areas that you don’t know much about one tends to invite this sort of criticism. I know nothing about shanta except it’s in Africa, which is enough for me.
Oh, and I didn’t bring up ggp….
PS as for news flow, newcrest should report assays on more than 15 drill holes tomorrow night.

Morning colonel. I am excited by facts, share price movement, news, information. We don’t have much of those IMO. We have a lot of teasers which you point out very well. Not much of that interests the market or the sp wouldn’t be where it is. When we get a pfs, an mre or some great drill results Solgold can join the party.
Anyhow it’s just an opinion….

Morning Bozi. Well I certainly hope that these are the least interesting! If Solgold ever get further down the road, I would hope and expect the number to be 10-15 licences with half of those subject to farmouts.
There are a lot of very exciting and interesting things going on in the mining and related world. Sadly Solgold isnt one of them at the moment. Maybe the PFS will change all that, whenever it comes out.

So, no interest in those ten from anyone else….

BHP are acting like a hedge fund that is very short in a rising market. Trying to do everything and anything to talk the market down while deciding when and how to cover in. This is usually a position of extreme weakness which can be attacked by the competition. Maybe thats what Twiggy is doing, and enjoying it.
It also suggests to me that BHPs ambitions in copper extend far and wide and much much more than Solgold.
It could be a very interesting next five years in the copper mining sector.

Sadly, I think it’s pretty clear that 007, who only posts in the evening, has a major drink problem. Consequently I filtered him ages ago. Not sure he has too many/any friends on here, and to attack the superb analysis by such an esteemed poster as Bamps shows a supreme lack of judgement.
