Morning Addicknt. 71% is an enormous premium considering there have been bid rumours for some time. That would get Solgold to about 46p....
On this years high it would get us to about 75p. I would be very pleasantly surprised if that were the case.

CD. Yes I have definitely made my decision on that score. There is only so much money that I am prepared to invest in banana republics. I still have plenty of shares in Solgold though not as many as I once had. I love the asset and that’s why I am invested.
Even at this price ggp has made me returns that I could only dream of. Solgold hasn’t done anything for me. I continue to back my winners and question my duds. I prefer the saying run your winners and cut your losers than any other mkt saying. It’s what PIs consistently fail to do.

Ok RK. So it has to get to at least 55p based on those events and a bid will lead to a bidding war. I wish I had your optimism. It has been sucked out of me by the missed opportunities and deadline over the past few years.
Firstly I am not sure it will run to 55, and secondly I don’t think there will be a bidding war.
But I hope that I am wrong and you are right!

RK. I am enjoying your posts while not always agreeing with them. Can you see a pathway to go from 27p now to 125-200p bid? Unless you are talking many many years, I can’t. Not sure when anyone has ever paid 4-8 times a sp in a bid.

Bozi, I agree that it would probably represent an appalling act of mismanagement over the past 2-3 years. But an asset is worth what someone is willing to pay for it, nothing more nothing less. At the moment thats about 27p plus say 40% bid premium. Maybe a well drafted PFS could get us higher, plus the 40%. But you have to ask why oh why are they doing pretty much nothing in all these wonderful Alpala lookalikes they say they have. Its not cos they dont have the money. Its not cos of Covid (from what we hear). Are they just lazy?
I just think since the last AGM they know they are toast.

Not usually one for strange conspiracy theories but in Solgolds case I will make an exception. So how about, there isnt a new ceo, never was, never will be. Just jawboning with usual rubbish platitudes to get to PFS. After that there will be an agreed deal with BHP at about 50p. Money talks and that trumps any nonsense about a diverse book.
At least it would explain why Solgold have done absolutely sod all this year - at our expense.

Just to clarify:
Warrants were issued to HNW individuals two years ago as part of a fund raising and expire in August - not many left now.
Options are issued to directors and staff - GH has exercised all of his.
GH held 19.5m shares, after all options exercised, as at mid June.
CB is in great form and certainly not going anywhere.
Some people are malicious for the sake of it. So please dont give them oxygen by replying as you are doing EXACTLY what they want you to. Which means you are being played...

Can we have a bit of thought going into the questions please? We wont have all the time in the world and not all questions will be posed, and even fewer answered. So please, no questions like 'when do you think I can expect a dividend?' Most of us can answer that one, and its going to be 'not until we have surplus free cash flow, which will be some time away with all the exploration acreage we have and increased overheads'.
Far better to ask what were the results of the 4-5 holes in a line to the far west of Scally that were drilled last year? (Thanks Hydro, got one back!).
