Most of what is listed as buys and sells are just estimates. It just depends on which side of the halfway line it is transacted at. If you can buy below the midpoint, then a) you will have done well but b) it would suggest that there is a committed seller out there. Dont think folks should get too wound up about it. Usually its peanuts anyway.

Apologies if already posted but hannam and partners have brought out a new note, tweeted by solgold. New target price of 107 which is same price as peel hunt if I recall correctly. Not sure I have seen broker target price 5X higher than market price before.

There is a lot I don’t get. In the interview he talks about raising $2.5 Byn as if its a piece of cake. Talks of bonds, offtake deals, forwards sales etc etc and no equity dilution. I would be amazed if that was anywhere near possible. Also talked previously of go for gold strategy which allows for the mining of close to surface gold at Blanca etc. This cash flow will help finance Alpala, but that will cost something to get going, so where is that cash coming from?
Anna did say that there would be a conf call some months back so that we could put some questions to nm, but like permits, cgp bid and drilling results I expect that’s imminent!

Bhp are released from their restrictions in oct20 but I thought NC were sooner than Oct this year?Mind you, as the weaker of the two I would doubt that they would start a bidding war that they will lose. Better for them a carve up.
I think this selling is into a very thin summer mkt. this could continue but I would expect that at the end of the summer we should have a more fairly valued company. Of course some permits in the meantime would be nice!
Large volumes at sharply lower prices would suggest some kind of capitulation too, which could also lead to a recovery, but that might be wishful thinking....

If the price stays here then they might make a profit next year, given how far the options are otm!

The costs of trading will eat such a high % of the profits that it will become unprofitable over time. Stamp is a % but most comms are flat fees. That could be 10% on £100!
Better of in a company saye scheme or post office!

Just about the only positive to take from this carnage is to see so many small sales and a few large purchases. Why anyone owns a few hundred quid in any company beats me, but its good to shake these guys out of their weak holdings. This is no place for them. Hopefully they will finish soon and a few insto buys can take this back to come semblance of fair value.
NM stated that one of his objectives was to increase the insto holders (and by inference reduce the PIs). He seems to have got his wish.

Tried to buy a million on the close. HL wouldnt even give me a quote. DJ and Mickey probably think thats because there is news tomorrow. Maybe or maybe its cos the MMs dont want to be short overnight. Who knows.
Still feel that whatever persuaded the instos and HNW individuals to put money in at 1.85 hasnt been released to the mkt yet. GGP will have to soon and probably the day when the shares are fungible, which I think is next week. IMHO.

Are you seeing masses of fresh buying that is taking these MMs naked short? I'm not. Todays total volume is about 0.25% of total shares in issue. No buyers is the problem
