Addicknt and The Italian. So the answer to the problems seems blindingly to obvious to some of us. Sell all or part of the Alpala/Cascabel asset to those that can fund it internally (NC and BHP), buy back some of their s/holding with the proceeds, return some to the other s/holders and use the rest to drill and prove up their other 12 priorities.
It might not get top dollar but it will move things along quicker and will make more money for s/holders in a shorter timeframe.
Not only do I not know where and how they are going to get the funding for Alpala but they also need to fund all the other 12 drilling campaigns too. Some funders are going to have to love Ecuador, Solgold, Alpala, and the other 12 to sole risk (as in nothing else in the loan pool) at anything other than usurious rates.
Just wish we could sit down with NM or someone and understand more.

Most of the comments on here seem to suggest that we all have enough of these shares at the moment. So if we all want the sp higher, then we need to find new buyers. Speak to your insto friends, chap down the pub with £50k to spend, FT journos etc etc. Bleating on here just tells me that there are a few here who may have too many....

I am sure there will be an update from the broker who published a note a couple of weeks ago. I think their guess then was upper 3s myn ozs.

I agree volvic, it would be hugely embarrassing for NC if they showcased Haveiron in a major presentation and a few days/weeks later it was a dud. Under promise and over deliver is the mantra of all quality companies, so this has definitely added to my comfort level.

Earlier in the week I sent Anna some questions on various subjects close to our hearts (and wallets). She has broadly confirmed matters, some of which will please, others may not.
'Permitting for the regional projects is progressing'.
'The documentation for the Cornerstone bid is still in progress. We still very much intend to make a formal bid.'
'It is likely that the MRE#3 will be ready by the end of 2019 while the PFS has moved to Q1 2020. We run concurrent workstreams, we plan to have the BFS completed by the end of 2020.'

I just think its a more technical situation than that. The TA experts can probably add a lot more colour than I can. It looked like quiet, thin markets and a bear raid triggering stops, led to an oversold situation. Gaps filled and selling was exhausted. Sad to say lots of small PIs got taken out. This is just the bounce back to a more 'normal' price.
Still feel a fair price basis last few months is mid to high 30s, but I would guess that there may be some technical resistance to that and the brave buyers in the low 20s may put a lid on it.
Would be nice to think that this is all basis some newsflow, but sadly I am doubtful to say the least.

I thought $50-100 was a price range used when the price of Au was back in the 1200s or lower? Wouldnt one expect a higher price after this recent move up? I had read 10% of the mkt price and at least that would give some acknowledgement of the market movements (obv not $ for $). Given the benign jurisdiction I would hope for higher too.
In the case of Hav, we have processing facilities nearby which should increase its value further. I have no idea where the nearest processing facilities are to FT.

Stuart it might be dependent on materiality, but it would be lovely if it was material to NC, cos then we will have something as mickey would say ‘HUGE’...

Interesting Stuart. Wouldnt you expect a JV to stipulate that NC should share the data with GGP in a timely manner? Surely GGP wouldnt have negotiated a document which allows them to be kept in the dark about the results? At the moment NC dont even own any of the asset.

I can sell pretty much any amount at 1.70p. Cant buy anything. I think we have the MMs shiort in a rising market.

Please, it really isn’t the mms. If you guys were right about this, it would be the only stock the mms are interested in and they would be short the entire free float! Any one insto could take out all mms combined. That they don’t is probably cos it’s too early-stage for them.

Hi Stout. My guess is that this presentation was used as a basis for the last fund raising. What I find odd is that when I used to attend these sort of secondary placings, there was always a catalyst for the placing, usually an acquisition or impending news. New shares would be embargoed till the news came out. If I am right, and the new shares now rank pari passu, then it would appear that the money was raised w/o any kind of tempter bit of info. So one wonders why a new investor would go into a placing rather than just buy in the market. Volume - maybe. Price - hardly.
I was really expecting some price sensitive news to coincide with the shares being admitted.
