Its not surprising that the 'boxing effect' of theses warrants seem to be controlling the sp atm. The short duration will only exacerbate the effect until the warrants expire. Do we know when in August?

You would probably have to add in all options and warrants that would be in the money, so fully diluted shares in issue.

Really? Total amount offered divided by shares in issue multiplied by your holding.

Exactly how is the sp being manipulated? If the mms are just booking out all these buys they would be at least 25myn shares short. In a bull mkt how does that work? Quite honestly if they have a residual position with this news they would always want to be long.
They make money from the spread not by keeping price artificially low.
IMHO those who complain can’t accept that there are a lot of flakey longs who have sold today. If they don’t like it and think the sp is wrong, remortgage the house and fill yer boots....

If NM really wants to sell either the asset or the company at some stage, the best way to get a high value is to get the sp up now and show a steadily increasing sp. No one will pay anything like 4byn when the company is valued at under $1byn atm.
I wonder what the biggest premium paid to current sp is? I would guess about double the mkt, maybe a bit more.

Does everyone agree that this should put the nail in the coffin of the need for extra cash? Firstly the warrants will bring in what is needed in the short term, plus it looks to me like NC are ramping up the exploration budget so might they not bring stage 2 and the larger payments forward?

In my opinion that’s the problem. It’s all personal and lacking in much logic. Unless you think they need 100% to get cheap funding cos they are going to production.
But in my opinion going to production also lacks logic.
But I do like proving up the greater alpala and a much bigger mre3. Trouble is now we are already factoring in an increase of 20%+, so to a degree that will be in the price.

Given my substantial shareholding I prefer to worry about what I know than hope about what I don’t know.
However i would agree that more rigs is good news. Permits and proper assay results per drill number as per last year would be a lot better than a cgp bid which will struggle to get done and doesn’t have any support from Cgp. Plus it takes up/wastes management time.
The sp will ultimately determine the success of this company and my attitude to it.

30,000 is the EMS, which would suggest that MMs are being taken out rather than them filling a sell order. Probably why price is moving higher - no sellers.

When I spoke with NM 9 months ago he said he wasnt expecting them to nominate anyone. From BHPs point of view I am sure they can get all the information they want by picking up the phone and if they wanted to buy some more shares, as they are entitled to, they are not constrained by being in possession if inside info (unless they do pick up the phone that is!).

There have been far more 1 trades that have led to nothing and I am sure there are 1 trades before announcements and also before my breakfast.... IMHO its just coincidence and about as much info as the tea leaves.

There are some that value small miners at 10% of the gold price X ozs in the ground.
So on that basis it does matter about the price but only just!

I see that Ray Dalio is on Bloomberg talking up gold as an investment. Smart guy.
