Hi zoros. Over on that other board you are often accused of not reading dox and making sweeping statements. Here you talk about ggp owning 25% of Havieron. You must know that isn’t true even if you haven’t read any ggp document. Come on man, if you want to be taken seriously over here (and you should be as you often have good things to say), get your facts right!

Drill results are definitely market sensitive information. Firstly because Solgold is an exploration company, secondly because the market has been begging for the company to drill and thirdly because the management have been singing the praises of all these prospects. And if you want a fourth why were they getting so excited about Alpalas drill results a few years back.
If it’s not price sensitive wtf are they drilling it for?!!

In this weeks podcast Eric suggests that gold in the ground might have risen in value threefold in past 6 months. He also can envisage a silver price of $110, which would put gold at $4500 at least.
Mind you he is heavily invested!!

In the last Q&A I distinctly remember him saying that he wouldnt issue equity 'at these prices'. I think the sp was around 26/27 at the time and he actually issued equity at 21.5. So if you wanted to split hairs you could say he was right. Trouble is the equity issue was at worse prices.
In the same or a previous webinar Ingo said that they could use some of the royalty finance for exploration. This was clearly not the case and I presume that FN pointed this out, hence the equity raise that was a surprise for many, incl Ingo and NM.
So I would agree with Zoros that he did go back on his word, but I think as far as he was concerned things changed and he had no alternative.
From my point of view the events of the past few weeks have hardened my view that Solgold or Alpala/Cascabel wont be around by Xmas. Not quite sure which alternative I prefer atm but the sp should be higher than now either way.

Obviously raising equity at the project level, is a version of selling, though obviously only a part of it. Maybe NM thinks that a royalty is raising equity at the project level, which I guess it maybe, though I havent heard it described as such.

My take on the above was that he often referred to raising equity at the project level rather than the corporate level, so the logical continuation of that is that he would like to get rid of CGP and then sell it on again to someone with deeper pockets - maybe FN. Maybe not 15% but a decent enough chunk to raise most of the equity element to the US$2.7b. Sound strategy for his stated goal, which of course isn’t my preferred route but a lot better than having another billion or two shares issued at sub 30p.

If they really thought that 13 prospects were better than Alpala why oh why don’t they put ensa up for sale, make a couple of billion and have a bucket of money to create these 13 Alpala +. Either cos it’s not true or cos NM is so stubborn he puts his ego above building a share price.
He will lose this company in next 6 months imho which will give him plenty of retirement Time to rue his appalling decisions.

I am not engaging on GGP anymore on here. GGP going to 0p and Solgold going to £2.50. Everybody happy?

As usual people on here opine about GGP when they dont know what they are talking about. The toll terms were agreed at the farmin last year. Stick to Solgold please.

No they wont MDC1. What shares needed to be sold with the options were announced with the exercise notification. They certainly wont dribble them out as that would mean an RNS every time they dribble.
The news was when the initial announcement was made. When they become fungible is irrelevant.

Wrt why publish, if you think you may employ an expat (in UK) you have to advertise publicly as this would form part of your visa application, showing that you tried and that there were no applications or none that were suitable. Might work same in Oz.

TbTT, I believe you are thinking like a PI and not a miner. NC wont make a low ball bid just to bring in BHP or others unless they might actually want to buy Solgold. They wont think 'at 30p we wouldnt mind owning it but at 50p we would rather sell up'. They either want it it or dont.
The leak of news about RBC is just to alert any potential buyer that there is a conversation to be had. The fact the the sp isnt moving sadly speaks volumes. If the market thought there was going to be a bid at say 45p in next 3 months, this share would be trading above 30p now.

Sadly the drilling news won’t be till 23.30.

2b not 4b shares o/s. Even fully diluted doesn’t get much above 2.2.

My last word on the subject! When Solgold pour their first gold, ggp won’t exist, and the investors will either lying by their pool or down the pawn shop....

Miagi, I don’t think there is any merit in comparing Solgold with Ggp. They are so different. But I don’t bring Ggp up when discussing Solgold, but I do reserve the right to comment if someone else does.
Firstly, comparing Australia to Ecuador makes it a completely pointless comparison. Add the completely different attitudes of the board and management and it further adds to the differences.
I think you will be surprised how much gold reserve there is in Havieron and the Paterson but I agree that it’s an unknown, bit like the rest of Ecuador.
The 84p has come from this bb not the bod. The bod have said nothing specific as that would be unprofessional. It would require a lot of great drill results to get to 84p, which is what Solgold will need too.
So the comparisons are really about the unknowns, and that’s about it.

Miagi I think mine are opposite to yours! Also I will add South America to Africa as a continent that won’t see any of my money again. Whereas I am looking at further opportunities in Australia.

Also NC aren’t squeezing Ggp as everything above board and decided over a year ago.
Plus ggp have stated no desire or false signal to be a miner.
Plus of course ggp is flavour of the year, whereas solgold has left a distinctly nasty taste in a lot of people mouths.
