Schlemiel, I agree something has leaked out. This has been a very tight ship but these sort of moves two days before a major announcement after a very quiet period is pretty smelly.
I think spy is right, though the numbers might be a bit off...

Hi colonel, not sure what a contriction is but equally sure I have been called worse!
It’s only going down as a percentage because everything else is going up. I haven’t sold any and I recently bought a few. My whole portfolio has been geared to precious metals for some time, so it’s annoying when you think you have the right positions for the right reasons, but although the reasoning is spot on the investment doesn’t follow the thought process. It’s frustrating and more so when I think of the opportunity cost of this investment. I have been in this for a long time, it’s now my longest and worst investment. It’s always jam tomorrow. I will wait till October and just hope that BHP put me out of my misery. I will try and not post too much as I know a lot of people on here would rather have only positive news, but everybody should be aware of what the investment is costing in terms of lost opportunities. Bye.

Colonel, I havent sold any yet, but would be happy to do so, if that was what it took to move the price higher! This share price is now completely divorced from reality as the world realises that inflation will erode all asset values and gold and silver is the place to be. Fortunately, thanks to other events, Solgold is now only 5% of my investment pot but it is really frustrating. Must be a lot lot worse if you had all your eggs in this basket (case).

Aquazi, depends how long you plan to hold them for. I bought into SVE at around 4p, which gave me an effective entry price into GGP at 3p. I plan to hold for a very long time, so spread is less relevant.

I would tend to agree Darren. If it cant go up today then when will it? This stock has no friends who will buy, just PIs with too much.

Sand, that’s my thinking too. If they are courting Aussie instos then I am thinking it’s highly likely that there will be an Aussie quote too . GH did wonder aloud whether this might help the undervaluation at last years agm.
I just hope that the liquidity stays in UK.

GGP will be valued on the basis of asset value and exploration upside for quite a while before it gets valued on income and thus p/e, if ever.
