Avi, well the cynic (which I guess is you) would say that it cleared the way for GH to exercise his options. Anyone with a modicum of intelligence would have known that these options had not been exercised yet and so there was always going to be a bit of selling.
The optimist and those with a long term view would say nice chance to build up an investment whilst some forced selling is going on. Price should appreciate once this selling is done.

Avi, almost certainly GH as he still has 28m options expiring in July, but I dont think CB has any more this year. Depending on GHs tax band, could be as much as 13m to sell. Hydrogens mate can take him out with a phone call.....

Have you updated your huge three dimensional spreadsheet and come up with a revised target yet? Do I need to revise my 30m sell order at 74p?

NM must have realised that there was no way he was going to get CGP unless and until he was able to offer the CGP shareholders upside to our drilling programme. We get 15% of Alpala where we already have 85% and give away 15% upside to our other ‘world class’ prospects.
It’s a stonking deal for CGP shareholders. Not sure it will do much for Solgold bar tidy up a mess.

If you are going to inform readers what the number of shares in issue is, can I suggest that you also say what the fully diluted number of shares is too? The fully diluted number is the important number given that all warrants and options are so far in the money.
Otherwise its a great piece of work and should save a lot of time for all parties.

Because you have no clue as to what went before, what the options were and are, what the expectations were, what the future is in terms of optionality over licences, what the relationship is and how much the share price has moved and what ggp profess to be and not be.
Due to your desire to take this further than would seem reasonable on the wrong board and your desire to jump to conclusions to misprove a point, the rest of your posts are now tainted.

Colonel, this is the Solgold board. Come over to the ggp board and I will explain. I know there are a few who are or have been holders of ggp but I do believe Solgold will rise or fall on its own merits and most would rather talk about that.

Free trade and those like is a lot of smoke and mirrors imho. That they don’t charge a fiver commission maybe the case but they just get it by marking up/down the sp. Why would they do it for zero benefit.

Colonel, I usually enjoy reading your posts and while I don’t always agree with them, they are well constructed and have some logic. But...... your analysis of the ggp situation lacks any sort of understanding whatsoever and so to apply that ‘understanding’ to the Solgold situation is plain wrong. Far too many people on the Solgold board seem to often compare and contrast ggp with Solgold. The only thing that connects them is NC, and that’s about to change.

If NC bid for Solgold it would be out of spite and would ensure that BHP end up owning it sooner than even they probably planned. NC don’t want Solgold and I am pretty sure that they don’t want to manage an asset in Ecuador. But it would be the end of NM and Solgold if they started the ball rolling.
