So if he thought that, why doesnt he spin Alpala off into a separate company with same s/holders (one for one), plus a bit of cash, to differentiate the two, and then if BHP or whoever just want Alpala, NM and Solgold could go exploring. If they want both then they have to put a value on the exploration side, which would be more than its current value obvs.
I am sure there are plenty of reasons for and against and cant say I have given it masses of thought but just an idea for discussion.

I contacted HL about the above. Not interested now and no plans to be interested. Given that their website has been going downhill steadily since lockdown, I dont think they will be getting any recommendations from me anymore.

I would characterise the Paterson as maybe a Leeds Utd and Alpala as Twente Eschede if you want a footballing analogy.

Matt, yes Telfer can process a lot of copper and the facility isnt anywhere near at capacity for copper ore.

Agree CD, this is all about the region not Winu. For this to become significant to Rio they will have to develop other areas, explore a lot more or start a region wide consolidation. Another reason why some tiddlers are valued so highly.

If you knew the copper production you could guess the AISC. As we don’t, we can’t. So your guess is as good as anyone’s.
