I've said before that even if the copper is there it will take dozens of drills to prove up (Solg currently on hole 60, 5 years after starting drilling at Alpala. They've completed 120,000 mtrs of drilling with 10 rigs on site) My best guess is that if the copper is at ST in decent looking grades and intervals, it may be best to get a JV partner on board early on to fund things and move things forward more quickly, though giving up a bigger portion of the assets in the process. Otherwise, at this rate it may be many years and many more dilutions before the assets are finally scoped out.

A quick perusal of the Wiki info on IOCG deposits repeats some of the terminology we find in the RNSs, which I find a little too specialised to understand very well but, IMO it does appear we may be on the right track. One or two things I did glean from Wiki are that there could be several such deposits in a 'province' and also that the iron-based host rock can in itself make the project more financially viable. Iron ore is currently around $60/tonne and Google tells me "Hematite - Fe2O3 - 70 percent iron. Magnetite - Fe3O4 - 72 percent iron." So perhaps the iron itself could add another $30-$40/tonne to the say, $60/tonne of 1% copper that's hopefully there? Just musing as it's a notion that's only just struck my mind...

IMO, at this s/p level the only thing priced in is the c. 200 bopd at Lidsey (assuming they have been achieving that consistently)

It's just a convoluted way of handing everything over to JLP for nothing, IMO. It would have been better to sell Kabwe earlier for £15m to £20m or so, at least we would have got something, instead of AB offering us up to have our bones picked clean and eyeballs pecked out by vultures. AB needs to pay for this.

Perhaps it was multiple earthquakes that pushed the oil bearing strata up over time such that they lie appreciably above where they ought to have been, given the maturity of the contained oil. Maybe they are also the cause of the natural fractures we are seeing in the oil bearing strata? Just guessing tho...

PoP - PV said Brockham would be producing by the end of summer 2017, it wasn't. In the 14/2/2018 video he says Angs own Brockham and Lidsey when they only own 65% snd 60% respectively. He says 4 wells in production in Q1 2018, didn't happen. In the 17/7/2018 video he says since acquiring Balcombe they have emulated Ukog's portfolio much more in size, when in fact Ukog's is still about 8x larger, a bit of a mismatch there too.

Ah, we have the culprit then. PV seems prone to over exaggeration...

AFAIK Angs have around 60 to 70 sq kms, to Ukog's 500+
