I bow to your superior knowledge of the expected limits of the processing capabilities. I was going on the rough value of 300t/month Cu and 50t/month Co as mentioned in the May conference call, and assumed a profit margin of around one third with p/e of 10. Let's see what transpires...

I've little doubt that each target will contain some copper, the question is how much? Hopefully most will contain useful commercial amounts, but it's unrealistic to expect every zone to deliver a hundreds of millions of tonnes resource as someone suggested earlier.

I must be in a minority as I'm not necessarily expecting any of the 8 target zones to be anything like another Sentinel mine, though I'm hoping that at least a couple of areas will prove commercial enough to attract interest. The discovery of a large resource would obviously attract a big bucks asset sale but even without it, I think the bread and butter income from the processing plant, particularly at the increased 90tph, would still be sufficient to take the Mcap towards £200m.

16mts at this first drill target is already sufficient to feed the small scale plant at 15tph and run it non stop for 120 years! NvS has hinted that the target should be exceeded, so it would be great if we could divest some assets and build the bigger plant straight away - unless the demo plant is just for showcasing the operational feasibility prior to a buy out or JV?

fudgerella30, totally wrong, IMO. You can't value the company at the full sales value of its oil assets. Only a small fraction of that oil will be recoverable and the present in-the-ground value of that will only be a few $ a barrel, AFAIK. I'd be interested to hear the arguments in favour of the conclusions reached in your post from those who ticked it up.

This should help reverse some of the s/p negativity caused by the arbitration rumours now we have the big boys with more clout looking to take care of business.

Possibly true but the 100k tonnes of copper at M2 North zone probably underpins our current Mcap, so any half decent discoveries at all in other zones should send us quickly back up to multiples of our present value, IMO.

I'd still like to know what they found down the two exploratory holes drilled into ST several years ago. No mention of any copper grades hit or that they encountered any hard rock zones on those drills - in fact no info at all.

Yes, obviously not concerned locals or nimbys but hardened and seasoned (probably paid) activists who would turn up to disrupt any event for a fee.

I think 30% was too much just to get us to DFS stage. If Zulu ends up at 100m tonnes of 1% lithium as hoped, that's between $15-$25bn worth. Kdnc's 30% will then have bagged them up to $8bn worth for just around $7m (which they are going to have to scrabble around to find) It seems George is always very generous with (our) money...

I don't think Portland commerciality alone is going to get you your money back on its own, Orson, unless they find there's much more oil in that zone than previously thought. It should help under underpin present valuations, but good flows from the Kimmeridge again may see us back on the way to 6p, perhaps even before the EWTs are over, just on momentum, sentiment and of course hype?

Thank you for your input but I'll comment on global macro concerns anytime I like. Do you really think the price of our target metal plays no part in the value of our company? The Copper price moves in line with the general global market, they don't call it Dr. Copper for nothing.

I'm a believer but slowly backsliding a bit - I don't belong to any particular group tho. I probably shouldn't even be frequenting gambling institutions like AIM! :-)

Just reining in my own expectations a bit by imagining some negative scenarios, CB. And having stated them, they are now unlikely to happen! ;-)

Trumps trade wars totally collapse the global economy, metals prices plummet/ebola spreads over the DRC border and they struggle to contain it this time/NvS and/or Don Bailey croak it in quick succession - well you never know! :-p
