High voter turnout, no reports of any violence though some of voter intimidation. Polls indicate a slim lead for the ruling party but I wonder if the fairly young population will want a complete break from the past and will look to 40 year old Chimasa to lead them to a better future? Whichever, let's hope it's a conclusive result and a close victory for one party or a disputed result doesn't lead to civil unrest.

This BB is a perfect example, its little more populated by posters than it was a year or two back when the outlook was more uncertain. Wait for some decent Zamsort assay results and the herd will soon be here to double the s/p in a day. Thereafter, once a supply of copper/cobalt is scoped out and the pilot plant is up and running in a few months, I can see us 10 bagging from recent 2p lows.

Surprised to see additional land adjacent to ST being added to the current claims. My v. limited understanding of IOCG deposits is that the higher grade core area is usually relatively compact, perhaps 1-2km or even less, so our current claim ought to be big enough to contain a core of that size. Perhaps they think it could be humungous???

I would prefer Prem to hold onto Circum shares post IPO as the numbers suggest they could be worth several pence on our s/p once Circum are in full production in a couple of years.

We will likely need dozens of drills to prove up ST, assuming the copper is there. At the rate GWMO shift, the EV revolution will be over by the time we even get to a maiden JORC on it! We have already retreated from recent high copper prices as Trump has given base metals a kick in the nads with his ongoing trade wars. :-(

Alba selling off their HH stake for a few £m and losing all those barrels of oil in the ground is the last thing we'd need.

Its taken Solg several years and 40+ drills to delineate much of their Alpala resource. We seem to move at a more leisurely pace. Let's hope that the IOCG theory proves correct and we can then get a JV partner in to shift things along quicker. Solg Mcap is around £400m (down from £800m earlier) but I think they have around 8m tonnes of contained copper so far and are drilling other targets, so even if we hit the top of our range our assets are unlikely to exceed theirs. IMO.

It obviously depends on quantity and grade of copper found but I'm beginning to realise that everything this company does takes a lot lot longer than expected, so just have to sit back and wait.

How many shares do the group now collectively hold or what % of Prem?

I've long held the view that the nimbys would all but kill off oil extraction in some parts of the Weald. Are there O&G reps present at the council meetings to ensure fair play and address any public misunderstandings of some of the processes and procedures involved? Again, I'm not saying Putin is directly involved, but it must gladden him to see the move towards UK energy independence constantly being hindered.

Won't there be a supply glut and consequent price softening? 17bn tonnes is around 2 tonnes for every person on the planet. How much Ilmenite does the world really need?

I admit to being a bit concerned about the time it is taking to drill ST. We are approaching 3 months now and not quite at the pay zone yet, let alone drilling through it to gauge the thickness of the copper bearing strata. At current rates we must be drilling no more than a couple of metres a day.

No use having great assets but no cash flow to develop them. Lots of companies with several $bn worth of assets on AIM but valued at a few $m due to no funds to progress the projects, meaning a future of nothing but dilution at best and death spiral financing at worst. I keep banging on about HH proving commercial being the game changer for Alba, as unless there is cash coming in, no amount of PR will entice the shrewd investor into what currently looks a bit like a lifestyle company run primarily for the benefit of the BoD.

Yes why would they want a few $m for their share of HH which, if proved commercial, would allow up to 12% of 11bn barrels of oil in place to be attributable to Alba? Of course only a small % of that would be recoverable, but the value would still be infinitely better than a few $m.

Are we going to skip a season of Amitsoq graphite exploration to concentrate on Thule and Ingelfield?

What if all zones at HH being tested prove to be commercial and Alba's share of oil in place in the Portland and upper Kimmeridge is anything up to 1 billion barrels, would you be happy to have sold Alba's share of HH for a few £m ?
