Brotherant, it has crossed my mind whether the survival of the company may turn out to have depended on the simple decision of whether to go for water based or oil based drilling mud. Yes if Casa gets developed and brought to production Prem's (GR's) holding should eventually be worth a few $m. ARCM shares could conceivably multi bag from the original 2.5p or so within the next few months on good drill results and pilot production at Zamsort. So GR has sorted himself some nice insurance just in case current talks fail. Totally agree about the conflict of interest angle, perhaps better to raise the share ceiling for cash than to see your CEO wangling himself the only seat in the lifeboat. But let's give him the benefit of the doubt as he said there were 7 more members of the trust to consider and they wanted some security.

What you toking CB? Going rate for sale of a 2mozs gold resource (of which Casa own 72%) will be anything from $30 to $100$/oz in the ground, IMO. You can be sure that if it's situated in DRC, currently embroiled in civil strife, Casa's price will be near the bottom end of the range. So I would expect no more than 2x or 3x current valuation of Prem's ARCM holding. However, the Zamsort prospect is a different matter. For balance we should point out Sturec have had problems with the local environmental lobby as its an historical area, and DRC has had months of political unrest due to President Kabila's refusal to step down over a year after his tenure was supposed to have ended. Consequently I wouldn't expect top dollar for either project right now. At Zamsort, it was said in 2015 that the small scale plant would be operational the following year, but that didn't transpire. However I'm expecting NvS to deliver production this time around.

We're over $7000/tonne again. Hopefully new 5 year highs around $3.40/lb and then $8k/tonne won't be too far behind ($3.63/lb) All good...

Produced 190kts of copper in 2017, about $1bn worth, with presumably 20% to 30% margins. If we could find something approaching that kind of size and held onto it via a JV, we'd be talking of an s/p of £1+ rather than low pence, IMO. It would take years, of course. (Sentinel began construction in 2012 and production in 2016. It has 894mts reserves at .49%, enough for 16 years mining)

The few short comments on other stocks were clearly cynical digs rather than tips, at least in my own case. I'd be loathe to tout any other stock on a chat board, given my miserable investment track record so far. :-(

The rise in metals prices reminds me that tungsten has also risen about 50% over the last couple of years so might our Ester holdings now be worth more than we paid? Anyway, what exactly have they been doing there since it was purchased and where did they think the money was going to come from to diamond drill and prove up a deposit of one of the hardset metals known to mankind - just at the time we were going to need cash to get Kabwe developed? AB has deliberately steered us into a ditch, IMO.

Just a reminder that unless we really need the cash at Circum IPO, it may be good to let the investment develop. I did rough numbers on the expected potash output and concluded that our 5% holding there could add 2p to 3p to our s/p once the plant is up and running.
