Thanks Dcat80. I'm liking those figures more than the 4c/lb I read about a couple of years ago. Yes we are in a mining friendly jurisdiction with near surface assets. Add in heightened global demand for copper/cobalt, and hopefully that $300/tonne will prove nearer the mark.

Thanks for your opinion, Copperman. Agreed, the value addition from processing the ore ourselves will multiply the returns per tonne several fold, compared to a quick sale. Hopefully we will be extracting metals by year end.

I have already stated my own opinion, which seems to differ from others on here, so let's just see how things pan out. Let's find decent amounts of copper first then we can squabble over its unmined, in the ground sale value. ;-)

Copperman, you appear know what you are talking about as regards to copper mining. I would be interested to know your views as to how undeveloped in the ground copper (eq.) assets might be valued? My earlier stated (and disputed) view is that the in situ sale value of a tonne of unmined in the ground copper will be worth $50-$100.

fulmar29, your figures are misleading. That 5m tonnes I stated for Solg is actual contained copper metal not just ore at 1% to 2% Cu equivalent as our initial target is expected to be.

Any more delay and we will be getting close to a full year's gap in drilling Zulu, with another rainy season on the way. Pathetic, George..

CB - please check my posting history before resorting to personal digs. I am invested here and have said before that I expect the s/p to be several times current levels in the medium term.

CB - how exactly is Arcm profitable? Where is our income stream? I'm not looking to pick holes in Arcm, just trying to keep my feet on the ground and not get sucked in by unrealistic expectations. Have a look yourself into how much other industry pundits value undeveloped in-the-ground resources.

I'm not a sector expert but take a look at Solg. From 20th August 20th RNS - "The Alpala Deposit already has 6.0MOz of gold in the Indicated category, and 6.3MOz of gold in the Inferred category in addition to the 2.3Mt of copper in the Indicated category and 2.9Mt of copper in the Inferred category of the Alpala Maiden Resource published in January 2018" I make that around $45bn in full LME value of the metal in both categories (7.568m tonnes Cu Eq) yet Solg is currently valued at $614m, or $81/tonne. Of course moving from exploration into processing will add a lot more value to any mining company.

Yes, just the unmined and in situ sale value. One could also add in something for the half completed processing plant.

...and a near-surface open pit operation in mining friendly Zambia already ticks a couple of boxes. ;-)

My own ballpark estimate of in the ground copper value is between $50 and $100/tonne depending on grade, host rock jurisdiction, accessibility etc.

How can anyone glibly claim what flow rates at Balcombe or Brockham will be like when, apart from a few hours at HH, no other wells in the Weald have flowed anything from the Kimmeridge? As for not drilling BB correctly, Sanderson has already publicly taken issue with Vonk for suggesting it was the wrong drilling mud, and seems to suggest it was the formation itself posing problems. For all we know, Balcombe and Brockham may turn out to be dribblers as well.

Yes and useful to note that Kalumbila was pencilled in with a target of just 5m tonnes resource but ended up with 1bn+ @ .5%, so the current drill target could be any size from the original 16m upwards.

Yes, we may just be at the thin end of a nice deposit.

I was hoping for better grades really - more than c. 2% Cu eq. These are 'OK' grades and intervals, IMO. Early days though...
