Oh I forgot Corona virus! Though giving them the benefit of the doubt that was a thing they were not in full control of, so less culpable, IMO.

I can't work it out myself. I would expect China to struggle to maintain its growth momentum given that it's become a bit of a
global pariah. The rulership there has managed to annoy almost everyone, the Muslims because of the Uighurs, the whole of India with the Ladakh border skirmishes, Vietnam and the Philippines with their ceding chunks of the South China Sea, Tibetans and now Mongolians for trying to erase their cultures and subsume it into their own homogenous entity. The treatment of the brave young Hong Kong protesters caused me to rethink buying Chinese products in future though it's really the fault of the top leadership rather than the people, IMO. Buying up all the copper will create problems for the rest of the world in their push to recover their economies by expanding sustainable energy projects.

I was guilty of ramping this on the back of Alba's share of HH two years back. On the figures dangled in front of us by Ukog, Alba's share of the oil in place might have been worth several pence on the s/p. That hope now seems to have evaporated and we're now onto the next great hope.

I should think quartz vein chasing produces far less spoil than mining conventional gold ore bodies. If you could hide/disguise the mine entrance and promise to restore the site once it's mined out, then what's the problem? My son lives in the park to the west of Mt. Snowdon itself and behind the row of houses opposite his there's a hill of waste slate from previous mining in the area. It's a bit of an eyesore IMO and no one's bothered to have that shifted.

These rises are great for traders but not so good for anyone looking to add cheaply while awaiting the hoped for 'transaction'.

Current Mcap is pricing in about 500kts of in-the-ground copper, a lot more than we've found so far. However any tier 1 asset would likely contain several million tonnes each. Therefore, if it's true what Nick is hinting at that we may be sitting on several tier 1s, then it would be nice to think we have enough in total to get us into the 5mts+ contained copper range - with a commensurate price tag.

I don't disagree f29, I just question the worth or veracity of some of the info they may find. The best advice I would give is take everything you read in broker's notes and even some RNSs with a pinch of salt.

I love it when folk airily dismiss noobs with a DYOR. Where do people suggest they go for said research as broker notes are mostly pie in the sky best case scenarios and company RNSs can sometimes turn out to be as much a work of fiction as any of the ramping posts found on these BBs.

I read somewhere a few years back that it's an annual fee of $15k-$25k depending on which market you're on, but for that you can issue as many RNSs as you want.

Webley was skewered like the rest of us lths, loading up at well over 1p and then averaging down. He has no more info than the rest of us and was complaining bitterly about the previous BoD's lack of communication. I think he also got sucked in by the story of untold riches under Sharktooth only for them to fail to drill even one exploratory hole into it. Now we are back to being just another chicken scratchin' two picks and a mule nano explorer, more 'Three wheels on my wagon but I'm still rollin' along' than rocket ship to Mars. :-(

I get the impression that AA know what may be down there and will want to try and wrangle an early deal at a reasonable price before we start getting too many great results in and kick off a bidding war.

They'll need to find a lot more gold than 1kozs a year. That's barely enough to keep two guys with a mule, pick axes and some sticks of dynamite busy.

In the absence of decent copper results, and I'm talking many multiples of what we have found so far, all we have to go on to support our current enthusiasm is Nick's own excitement, hints and body language. If we could bottle that and sell it we'd be quids in already. :-)
