I had a feeling there would be a placing sometime soon as there has been a recently arrived poster offering continuous daily salesman like recommendations for Alba including tantalising future s/p projections, all designed to encourage people to buy in. Ask yourselves why they would spend so much time here talking the share up instead of quietly accumulating at lower prices? Always remember that we small time investors are swimming among sharks here on AIM.

Though I was the one who suggested contacting Georgian presenters/ reporters, having slept on it I now think doing nothing is probably the best course of action. If we have been conned our money is already long gone and whining won't do any good now, and if we are still alive and in sensitive talks then rocking the boat won't help. I have to say I think it's more likely that we have been used and abused, but you never know...

Maybe such a rash move by us would elicit some sort of conciliatory response, though whether it would be genuine or just designed to placate us, may be debatable.

For a couple of weeks I would send multiple emails to Zaza and anyone else who may be connected giving notice that due to their continued disdainful treatment towards shareholders, we are ready to approach Georgian journalists/presenters, whether pro or anti the present govt, before the upcoming election to highlight our own plight and the contempt with which we feel we have been treated by FRR. If he is harbouring any dreams of a future in politics, adding our own story to the unpaid workers saga would not be a good look, IMO, and would paint him as self serving and untrustworthy. Maybe he has had every intention of dumping us all along, so he probably deserves the bad publicity.

Just to add, gold is honest money just like silver and copper were though those two have now evolved into being industrial metals. Bitcoin mainly benefitted the early adopters and requires a degree of IT skills plus accompanying software/hardware, whereas any illiterate third world beggar can recognise gold. Since Nixon removed the gold standard in favour of fiat money govts have spent and printed at will, debasing their currencies. But even though their currencies are no longer backed by gold many govts still hold stores of gold so they clearly still see it as something of value.

@cattleman, gold has served the test of time for 6000 years as being a supreme store of value and medium of exchange. It is fairly rare but enough is found to keep pace with human population growth, it is easily identifiable due to its colour and weight, its concentrated value facilitates transporting large sums, it's easily divisible due to its relative softness, it is inert so it will not rust even after being buried for aeons and its value can't be inflated away by govt printing.

I've always found this bb surprisingly sparsely populated for a company that is apparently on the road to much greater things. Even the herd hardly drop in as and when news hits but, so unless we are hosting numerous silent lurkers it seems we number fairly few core followers. As some of us here are obviously a little stir crazy, perhaps it's no wonder that some are hesitatant to drop in and contribute?

My view was always that we had the potential to snowball into a medium Mcap company but we stumbled at the first fence with HH not delivering as hoped. Had we been able to book a few million barrels of oil as reserves our Mcap would have been several times higher and we could have raised funds for other ventures with less dilution. If things had gone our way I don't think 10p+ would have eventually been out of the question. A good drill campaign at Clogau may go some way to restoring some of that lost potential, and help to expedite our Greenland projects.

A gold miner isn't valued on the total eventual selling price of the gold in the ground. A sale price can go from anywhere between $5/oz (say an undeveloped mine in DRC with warlords in the neighbourhood) to $200/oz or more. I'd say we'd exceed that by virtue of it being premium Welsh gold and the fact we already have a mine ready to go.

@chinared, your fellow countrymen are renowned for being tough negotiators so I doubt we'd get top dollar from them, but you never know.
