Lots of businesses will go bust n lots of people will be out of work, the young on zero hour contracts especially. Looking at the normal global mortality numbers, about 100m die every year anyway, that's c. 300,000/day. If I were young, struggling and coldly calculating, I'd be wondering if the added pain is worth it just to slow down extra numbers of old people dying, especially since the older generation has had it so good compared to today's youngsters (jobs/careers for life, cheap housing, free further education) Wealth which the wrinklies have hung on to will, on their demise, be freed up to pass down to the struggling yoof. (BTW I'm bordering on being a wrinkly myself ;-))
