Bluejay currently has 4x more ilmanite than us though I think we're due to scope out and increase our numbers on the next trip. They also have a cargo loading facility and off take agreements in place. It would be over optimistic to expect our Greenland assets to equal theirs in value as yet.
I'm all for positivity but having been stung in the past I prefer to try and keep it real.

Comparing the GGP assets with Clogau is apples and oranges, GGP have large bulk ore bodies with consistent medium grades, Clogau has thin veins of high grade gold which are only sporadically present so harder to hit with exploratory drilling and quantify. GGP has tens of millions of ozs, wheres Clogau is unlikely to get past a couple of million at best, IMO. So GGP may have 10x or 20x the gold we have, with a Mcap of £750m. Of course we have more irons in the fire which may boost our Mcap but at the rate they have been able to progress the Greenland assets it will probably take a couple of years to monetise them.

Depends on how much ore there is though. I think Sentinel is 250mtrs deep..

@Shadow _Gunner, thanks for the amicable reply, a virtual beer is winging its way to you over the internet. :-) I'll stand by my disapproval of ridiculous s/p forecasts and one sometime has to question the motives of those touting such numbers, but I will be the first to offer grovelling apologies to the poster should we ever hit those dizzy heights. ;-)

Good post Ziggy. I think most creditors will have arrived at the same conclusion that we have, that this is a complex geopolitical situation involving large resources and needs to play itself out in its own sweet time, with important events likely to follow the coming election. They will know that FRR are currently potless and you can't get blood out of a stone so they have no choice but to wait and hope that things finally go our way for a change.

Thanks from me too jimmcdee. The operation does look low key but rather than being tin pot I see it as having a low environmental footprint - small mine entrance, low levels of ore and spoil, not likely to be any polluted run off into local rivers etc. So I'd argue that small and low profile is actually preferable given that we're operating in a national park.

CofE, without quoting the good book you should know the times we are living in and the type of people that will be around these days. People now hold a plethora of different viewpoints and don't often see eye to eye. One man's multiple lengthy posts ostensibly to inform and educate noobs is another's devious attempt to boost the s/p to cash in without a care for those about to be impaled on a spike. As someone whose p/f went from £140k to under £10k over ten years I am naturally on the lookout for and wary of serial rampers.

There's healthy optimism and then there's selfish trader's ramping intended to pump the s/p up, make a quick killing and stuff anyone who buys in and gets left hanging on a spike. Talk of 10-15p falls into the second category, IMO.

Zeecoshares, I'm all for optimism but really, 10-15p? That's a £600-700m Mcap. Maybe in a year or two if Clogau delivers as hoped and some of the Greenland assets get monetised. I'd put your first post down to noob enthusiasm except that 12 people have ticked it up, so it looks like the herd is assembling already.

Good signs of gold in current Clogau drilling should raise the Mcap enough to enable further raises at minimal dilution, if necessary. Failing that one would hope the already funded drilling campaigns next year in Greenland will produce enhanced figures for the ore bodies to get the s/p ball rolling again, and perhaps invite JV or asset sale approaches.

Given the data we know about so far, I tend to disagree on CE being a tier 1 asset as yet. Perhaps their modelling points to further areas of mineralisation on the perimeters, but so far the grades have been good but only contained in fairly modest intervals, so the in the ground value probably amounts to no more than our present Mcap, IMO. I have a feeling the underlying excitement must pertain to other areas of exploration.

Another thought - I think that among locals the idea of opening up further areas to mine might be more appealing, and help with the planning permission, if the gold was to be used for minting Welsh centric bullion, as much as for wedding rings for English royals or posh high end jewellery. It may appeal to their sense of nationalism to have their own home sourced gold bullion with a Welsh theme - and without the usual picture of Madge on the back if possible. :-)

IMO the placing before any Clogau results showed a little lack of faith. If they thought drill results would be good then they would surely have waited and raised at the resultant higher price with far less dilution?

A good idea for any of the devolved communities, IMO. The Isle of Man has the Manx pound, with a value on a par with the English pound. I think a gold version of a Welsh pound would be great collectors item. I wonder if George has considered approaching the Welsh 'govt' to float such an idea?

Yes 500kozs would take us into the 1p to 2p range IMO, but we'd need to get over the bureaucratic hurdles. Who knows how that will pan out or how long it may take?

It's a pity there aren't two BBs for each share, one for reasoned and balanced longer term holders and one where short term traders can spout any old twaddle to try and move the s/p up and down as they wish.

saint-tropez, are you qualified to give out investment advice in public without any disclaimer, airily throwing out the certainty of the s/p hitting up to 20p? It's good to know we have someone to sue for our losses should the s/p fail to hit the values you have repeatedly stated. Thanks...
