ryanf, you spent all day yesterday ramping these to the hilt which has turned out to be complete rubbish.
OK if you want to spend your own money but don't incourage others to lose money when you don't know all the facts.

ryanf, actually I didn't have any holding in cine at the end. I bought and sold many times in cine over the last year and made money and left when the sp was still in the 30's ish. So I didn't lose any money at all and kept telling posters to get out. so wrong.

Been at this game for 40 years and nothing would surprise me , these directors play all sorts of games and find many ways to arrange sells.

It will be interesting to see if we get any Director sales coming through today dated yesterday.
That would make me think someone slightly planned yesterdays news to drive up the SP so they could sell at the top and then buy back on the fall to 60p ish.

I think that after these results, if Matt gets an offer to buy at 80P+ he will take it and run.

Just looking at the results it's fair to say that for any other company with these results at the current time with £500m loss and debt of £180m you wouldn't be buying.
I think yesterdays SP rise is/was more about hype and wishing pushing up the SP rather than real values and fundamentals.S what's the true value of THG now and now so lets see what happens in the next few days.

Well it's as some papers were saying and it looks like it's all about in the years to come, but a big loss of approx £500m.
So who in their right mond is going to pay more than 60p-75p to buy this lot, so after these results we could see a crafty offer of 60p ish and now the SP will / could fall back.

Let's just see what happens. If there's a bid there's a bid if not it will fall back. some we win some we win less.

This is a cracking price and now sold for a good profit before it all falls back, if it does I will buy back in but if not that's the way things go.

It's got nothing to do with wood group, until we get a firm offer this is all hype and the SP will fall back fast if no offer or any low offer is put forward.

THG said that it is "a highly preliminary and non-binding indicative proposal", but did not disclose the terms of the proposal, and everyone is assuming the offer will be high.
But this offer price could be 60p ish and when it's disclosed and rejected if it is the price will drop way back and all those that bought in at 70p + will be caught out. Best to just sit back and see.

But I have to say we have seen all this before, It's funny how the BOD's have suddenly come out with this possible offer just before the esults, there's no G/Tee anyone will make an offer or that it will be at the right price or declined which I think it will be.
In a few days time this will settle back down to 60p-70p and all thought of a takeover will be in the past.

Is more to do with an equity raise of up-to 20% of shares already issued, this has already been on bloomberg today so pretty sure it's going ahead soon but no one yet knows the issue price . could be 70p+ ish so expect the SP to fall more as soon as it's out there.

Morning Tom, I haven't yet sold any I was waiting to see what was going to happen as you do.
Happy with the Divi and ready with more cash to buy in again if it goes much lower.
I don't now see the point for only 3p ish drop but if it drops to 75p ish you have done the correct thing. good luck.

Even if they do hold a meeting they cannot do anything to help as they DON'T have any control now.
I am begining to think that as well as being St*** you must be blind and cannot read what's going on.

So if we sell first thing on thursday will we still get the divi as you are registered on half of the 13th when the deal is registered by your broker but not settled for 2 days?
I have always waited a few days before selling.

Some big movements sofar today, one min it's up to 675p ish and now down 2.5% to 63pish.
Who knows where this is going
