Hi all, yes it seems like the normal bid rumers again with luck. But when you think what ITV has and the profit and Divi it has why shouldn't someone / many companies looking to take ITV over at this very low price when compared to say THG in the press at the moment which is still losing money and has debt.
Come on someone make a bid of £1.25 and many will be very happy .

The board are just saying , they have no idea why anyone would be buying the shares and pushing the SP up when it's a slow wind DOWN. Clearly if people are doing this it's nothing to do with the company and you have yourselves to blame when your money is lost. So don't come running to the company for any help or money claims. Hi peachy111, the trouble is you can only keep topping up if you think it's going to go up.
I have done that now many times, ok it brings down my ave but after what about a year stuck in a short range of 70p-86p you have to wonder will it ever go back to £1.
I know we are all getting the Divi which helps but surely this has to move soon, and we all know that when / if we sell then the SP will rocket so I guess it's just sit tight for a little longer.

I bought a new petrol car 4 weeks ago from a well known dealer( not Lookers) who said they were getting many electric cars being offered back to dealers after many problems with charging points and range etc, many dealers were offering to buy back these cars at 15%-20% discount even though they were only a few months old simply because they cannot sell second hand electric cars. Come on in all honesty who would put a bid in for any company that was about to release it's results in 1-2 days without knowing what was going to be in them.

The city or powers that be should be able to take MM to task about releasing any info that is NOT confirmed because now we can see what happens.

Hosai, your saying the offer but if there was such a firm offer it might have been 40p we don't know and that's the trouble NO one knows . It's all just hype and it will fall back. As it happens I am NOT shorting this I sold all mine at 91p ish before the final rise.

Everyone is talking about an offer of £2+ etc, but as of today there has NOT been any firm offer , if there was surely THG would have at least put out the information of a rejected bid but they haven't.
So as of today there is no offer. just games.
So what is THG really worth with a loss of £500m and debt of another £180m based on the fundamentals?
