OK the SP is /looks like it's going up or down a little and you might be under water at the current price, look we have all been there over the years but you have to ask yourself if I sell now I may lose £ amount but if I don'r sell now I will lose all. !!!
Non of us like to lose money but if you don't sell and the SP goes to nil with the change , yo will kick yourself for not selling and keeping some money.on the other hand if the SP goes back to 3p your going to kick yourself. It's always better to fight another day if possible.

So yet again the news is clear and it's the end for current shareholders, but there are still a few that seem to worry about a trading up-date etc as if that will make any difference.
The current BOD's or the city don't give a fig about any current trading it won't matter, Cine will carry on for a few more weeks taking money before the complete change to the new company and control. Unless someone thinks they have a magic wand.

Or sell today and make a small profit and then buy back in with 3.3p drop after Divi. questions, questions , and gambless but it does make life a little brighter with the games.

Morning all, so only a few days to go for the results and could there be some / any big shots in it.
Matt Moulding has made it blatantly clear with his press article that he thinks floating was a very big mistake for him and THG and should of stayed private. It’s clear he wants to take this back private if he can but to do that he really needs the SDP to drop back to 35p ish so he can make a killing, so why give out wonderful results that will push up the SP when he wants it down.
So does he care if the shorts keep the SP down, I don’t think he gives a fig if it works out with his aims.
Will be very interesting to see what’s in the results and what the city do about them.

OK so results are in and as expected rev up a little but sales of new cars van and business are down with Profit before tax is about £80m and tax ws about £20m but it doesn't say what profit after tax is, now is it £60m or a lot less after all the other deductions. Just looks to me as if they only want to tel you some of the final results.

Hi Quick, you say it's the management that's the problem and then rant on about Fixing gas at it's high, but you don't know that you don't know they haven't fixed the gas and electric at a very competitive price because in the trading up-date in Jan they said.
The Group's electricity costs are now hedged for the entirety of FY2023 until the end of September 2023, with no change to earnings guidance. The Group's gas price is fixed until the end of March 2025 with no additional incremental spend anticipated.
So that looks to me like they have everything planned in and under control. Maybe todays price is a very good buy in .

Yes £6k CGT for 2023-4, but if you make your account a joint one with your wife then you could still be looking at £12k so worth having.

Good morning, yes looks like it's being held back by the city in a very tight range.
OK there is a nice 3.3p divi cut off date coming in what about 2 weeks but then I guess the SP will drop back when it's paid later in May, but the SP could be back to £1 by then anyway. I also thought this would be 90p+ by now and considering buying a few more if it drops to 80p. There not going bust or anything so sit tight.

Sorry for all those still holding or that bought in the last few weeks, but the people to blame for this loss are the ones that kept saying it will hit 20p+ and all that rubbish.
In this game you must only do what you think is right and NOT anyone else's views.
A very hard lesson when you follow the pack or a few so called leaders.

I was first talking about filling my tax allowance and you asked my if I was invested because you didn't believe what I was saying and then tried to find faults etc.
If you ask questions and don't like the replies, don't ask questions in the first place.
Did I ask if you were invested or not do I care or not. Make a post if you want to and who cares if it's true or not I don't.

Dalcan, I have held these, bought and sold these for the last year but in the end I don't give a fig what others do or don't do.
We should all do what we want to regardsless. So I don't need approval or credability for anyone.

I for one have just sold some today at 69.20 to add to my allowance as I have a little left in my joint account, and will buy more back in next week and with luck at 62p-65p. One can only hope and play the numbers, and gamble. !!!

Pearls, all very true but for many that don't have isa's they will sell now and make whatever profit they can against this tax year if they haven't already hit their tax allowance and then ready to stat afresh for next years allowance.
