We all thought it would drop and it did so I was right to wait to buy more , so I did today and the plan is working fine.

Next week we will be on the rise again and up wards to £1.25, then we will be making very good money.

Sometimes you just have to have faith and wait a few days /weeks for a good return, but it would be nice to see a few new broker up-dates if the city think this is a s good as I do.

Do you know what if it goes down to 78p I might buy a few more.

Hi omalley123, I don't think you are looking at ITV in the same way the city is.

These results show how well the Dame is doing and changing ITV for the better, profits are up, debt is down Divi held, a number of brokers coming out with higher targets of £1.10-£1.40 over the last few weeks.

I now see this going higher with less worries over the next few months. Let's see if any more broker up-dates come out..

Why should anyone be surprised the SP has fallen today after all this is normal for ITV to fall on results, but some of this fall must be down a little to the Markets.

But as normal ITV will rise again in a few days to a higher price, so it still looks a good bet to buy more and wait a little .

After all ITV is now in a much better position in terms of debt reduction higher profits than it was 6 months ago. Still think £1.25 is next jump.

Another 10,000 at 80.6. now I hope it pulls back to 86p

Yes but some of this drop might be down to the total market drop.

From my point of view I think the Dame is/has done a great job in turning this tanker round.

Bigger profits even on slightly reduced revenue .

Only 2 big issues and NOT problems are 1, debt which has already been reduced by £40m but why pay off the debt when you can use other peoples money and still leave us with a very good profit. and 2 number of shares but now she is taking care of this with another £200m buy backs which will/should push up share values and SP .

So all in all I think the Dame needs another knighthood.

Good morning tom, yes but profit up £136m, buy backs done to £53m but still going for a total of £235m.

Debts reduced by £40m to £515m, Divi same 1.7p.

Apart from i big drop in US yesterday which might push ftse down can see ITV going up over the next few days/weeks. to £1.25 and so will buy more today if SP drops to 80p ish.

All in all , things look like they are on track for a good year with plenty of cash to fund divi's.

Good morning tom, It's not about trying to impress anyone from my point of view it's about making a little bit of money and open and honest talk with others.

I sold some ITV a few weeks back and made a profit then bought Card which I sold this week for more profit.

I will buy more ITV to add to my current holding if I think I can make more at the right buying price.

Also looking to buy more VOD after buying another chunk on Friday, it's all a game.

When I first saw the RNS about director change I thought Brett Blundy was joining .

Yes like many I have been waiting to see what happens tomorrow.

Been sitting on cash waiting to buy more if the SP falls for the last few days /weeks but it hasn't happened yet, almost bought more yesterday but held back. will it fall after results or fly ???

I guess it's good that we now know where most of the shares have gone, but it doesn't mean there will be any bid or takeover offer made and it could be that the SP will now see the SP settle down around the £1.12 price as these shares have just been bought as a long term investment.

Well only 2 days to results, is it orth buying another 10,000 and a gamble the SP will go up?

So we have trading up-date this Thursday and AGM next week.

Hi Lorenzolynch I think you have mixed up some posts, I haven't mentioned any trading up-date that I know about.

I just mentioned a needed RSN.

I think it's fair to say that at this point none of us know what's going on and we are all just guessing until we get an RSN.

So they are only our own ideas.

Yes maybe it was just sold into the market and no one has bought the lot, and maybe no interested party looking at any takeover. .
