Yes you are so correct, I think I made the wrong call and sold a few ITV when I should have held them a bit longer.

But hey that's life. I am still making on the shares I have held.

I think we all know Starmer has run this election like a lawyer defending crooks in the dock.

Never admit anything and say what you have to to get someone off any charges, it's then not his problem if the crooks go out and do it all again.

Looks like we could be back to £1.03p pre divi price very soon, then on to £1.50 ..

Hi 3cardbrag, I can't see anything wrong in your move I sold some yesterday as we just don't know what's going to happen.

At this stage it's good to hold some cash ready for the drop.

There could be many on hear that may regret their thoughts next week, but I guess we will see.

Who knows what's going to happen but it's good to see the SP making slow progress to 83p ish.

No shares go straight up and ITV looks like it has a pattern of making a few pence then going back down for a while.

So let's just forget about a huge takeover offer at the moment and keep selling a few when the SP makes 3p-4p then buy on the drops which I think this will do over the next weeks or so, in while still holding my majority stake.

Always thought this might go to 82p-85p before the election, but it's what happens after that could be interesting.

It will either rocket to £1 and I will make good money on the shares I still hold or it will fall back a bit and I will make on my buy in top up.

I said I might sell a few at 82p-85p for a profit before the election as we didn't know what would happen and then buy back if the SP went down but I am still holding the majority for £1.20+ .

Good morning all, in all honesty I don't think the viewing numbers make the slightest difference to the SP any more.

We have now finished the end of June and the second half s o it's just a question of waiting until the end of July for the numbers and any Divi.

A bit surprised the SP hasn't risen to 85p-90p already but it will in time. Now where is that bid of £1.50+ ???????

Over 40 years of this I have tried buying and holding for years, some have gone down big time some have gone bust.

So now I hold for 6 -12 months hoping they turn but also buy and sell sometimes in a few days / weeks to make a little coming in while I am waiting for others.

But no matter what you do there is always some else who knows better or so they say. everyone to their own for money and fun and past time when your retired.

Good morning all, yes the positive news of growth for the UK economy should drive ITV upwards. but will we see a small fall to maybe 75p or less as we get to the election.

I might sell some for a small profit if we hit 82p and hold more cash for election results.

You never know what will happen here or with some others , and it's always safe to hold cash ready for any action needed.

But then again I will probably be wrong .

So Card Rev what about £500m, £50m proit and about £35m debt. plus Divi 4.5p so far.
