Hi wolf, I agree we need negativity as well because whatever many say I am sure it helps drive SP up and down which makes me happy as I have made good money over the last 2 years by buying on the drops and selling higher as well as the divi's.

I think ITV needed to invest for growth no matter who was in charge and I am sure we would still have been n the same state.

Hi wolf, so what would you have done apart from investing into ITVX and buying more studios which have all returned higher sales and profits this year.

Hi omalley,in all honesty I have no idea what's going to happen. It just winds me up with all these posters that keep blaming the Dame. Th big question is what would all these posters do are have done to make ITV bigger and more competitive while building the business and make more profits and higher SP over time. ITV is not a one person company and any CEO has to have the support of the board and a vote to change the direction in any long term plan.

Buddy I totally agree,there are so many posters that keep going on about the Dame as if she alone is to blame. The fact is she has started to turn ITV around, a few years ago some were saying ITV was too small and going nowhere with no divi's and low profits.

Well she has invested and now the profits are growing again and the SP will/is going back up

If the main shareholders thought she should go she would be gone, but they don't and she will be here for another few years. Many of these negative posters will be the ones in a few more months that will be praising her when the SP hit's £1+.

It looks like everyone is doing buy backs. ITV, VOD, now LEG, plus many other businesses all round must have too much cash floating around and think it better to do this than pay off/down debt.

Looks like all these CEO's went to the same school or have the same advisers.

Who says they have no money, cash flow is great and will keep paying Divi's.

If the city didn't think they could cover buy backs and divi's the SP would be 50p

Sorry guys you cannot compare ITV with netflix totally different and at different stages, I guess netflix also had to spend lots of money to start with as did ITV and we will get pay back 2024/2025.

synic, so your 50% down are you on what price your buy in, or haven't you yet bought in . Maybe you should be buying now to bring down your ave and if you haven't who's fault is that. From here it's a good bet to get to £1+.

There are so many on hear who keep saying the SP is down 50% on what it was, but are all these posters holders of stock at £1+ and have just sat on that stock without ave/down.But for any /all holders at 60-80p this is a great position to be in for the ride back to £1+

This SP has never been about trolls or anything else, it's just been about a company investing in the future. They spent 1-2 years investing for profit and divi's for 2024/2025 and that's now what's happening. Most companies SP drops when profits drop due to investing but now that investing has finished so we should now be looking forward to more profits and higher divi's in the next few years and this SP should go up more.It's as simple as that, so you should be buying now for more return as I can't see the Dame going anywhere soon.

After the last few days around the world where many have come out of techs for the next few months while that settles down a bit many will looks elsewhere.

So with plenty of cash around many I hope will be looking at other companies like ITV to put their money for growth and divi's , so now we could see a nice jump.

So with buy backs we could finish level 78p ish.

So far ITV not doing too bad down about 3.75% against many 5%-10%-15%. we can build from here.

So it looks like everyone moving out of techs and will be looking to move into different stocks like ITV for Divi's etc, so this could be the time for growth in ITV and up to where it should be £1+in a few weeks.

I knew I should have held off until next week before buying, could see 70p yet.

In all honesty I wouldn't rush to buy anything at the moment. Big fears about middle east war so we could be seeing a market crash like 2008 when shares go down another 200-300 points so keep you divi cash ready for next week or the week after for a better value buy.

I expect it will be an interesting day today.
