Good morning, yes I saw that but when you look at all the buys they are all over 70p, I just don't think the front page is showing the correct numbers.

Been following these for months now , watching and waiting for the right time to buy but is there ever a right time to buy.

The share price is on it's knees for all good reasons to do with US wholesale etc and summer months trade etc etc, but now following reports that at least the UK market is seeing growth back in retail it might be time to jump in.

So bought today at 70p ish and let's see if I made the right choice . was it the right time to buy. god knows. !!!!!! but come on 80p to start with.

Tom you cannot compare with 20 years ago, everything has changed in life over the last 20 years and so has ITV.

Today itv isn't just about advertising it's about studios productions film set tours everything is different.

Just look at what ITV is now and what the SP is and what the Divi is and place your bet, if your not happy with that DON'T get involved. simple.

What's the point in this waffle which means nothing and gets nothing in return.

Yes it does look good when a number of Directors buy their own shares, I think I will buy in today if the SP holds at 55p as they do look a good bet.

You cannot compare ITV with the BBC.

ITV is a profitable company paying divi's and standing alone in the market with overheads and rules. where the BBC does not make any profit , has a never ending money pot (the tax payer)

So stop talking rubbish and saying anything you can to make you feel better because you are out at the moment and want the SP to fall more.

Yes I think I have seen this or other views saying the same and a great read and looks very positive. It's only a question of time and the SP has slowly risen from 55p ish to 85p and now it needs to go 85p- £1.20. then I will be happy.

I know the SP started up and I couldn't understand that with a big loss and problems although long term it might be better, but we all know that the BOD's always put a good spin on things but maybe now the city is starting to see through the waffle and the SP will end up about 50p ish. But maybe that will still be a bit too high for the next few months.

I don't think tom knows what to say , because I think ITV have held up well in these summer months around the 80p mark and we now have the SP rise to look forward to for the divi as well as the normal year end build.

The SP looks ready to break out to 85p-90p range with business and profits rising so hold tight.

After reading the RNS ,it all looks bad to me or maybe not as bad as one thought it would be.

Just looked back and found out that I have been holding these for 10 years. Now it does say you don't have to sell and can still hold under the new company, but that will be a private company so how the hell would you get any money back

This has been dead/lost money anyway , so just sold for some small peanuts and hope to off-set this loss with gains in this tax year. One can only hope.

Anyone any idea when we will get the half year results up to end June , must be due anytime soon but as yet no info.

Hi robs,yes we all know that but where is the fun and challenge in that. The idea is to try and have a little fun and make a few bob .

Hi omalley, I must admit that after the last results I thought we would be well back into the 80's by now and that's why I topped up again at 77p ish.

But now thinking should i just sell the last top up and put the money into something else while I am waiting for the rise. But we all know that this will rise again for the divi.

Bharti have come out this morning saying they have NO intentions of takeover.

I am amazed at the number of posters that keep harping on about the Dame, for anyone that has bought in here from 55p-80p they /we are looking at making good money plus divi's.

But anyone else that bought in much higher, well you have had the chance to buy in much cheaper over the last 2 years and reduce your ave so if you can't come to terms with the Dame making good money in the long term for all her hard work then sell up and put your money into something else.

If you want about 4% then put your money in a bank or Building soc and stop worrying . Lif'e all about make the best of things and changing your plans along the way and never just locking it away for a long term rainy day.
