All this talk about nothing, but what we should be waiting for now is the first qtr trading update..or sale of some parts of the business.
Sorry been doing /playing this game for over 40 years and making money and it's still the same , you can't believe anything you read in this game and it's every man / women for themselves.
Just thought I would high-light some of the games going on.
That's what you have to ask your self when you see these Broker comments.
Some brokers are saying 50p ish while Jefferies are now saying £1.05, I always thought these banker houses employed professionals and followed the same basic rules when working out a companies SP forecast , so are the guys at Jefferies professionals that have the forecast correct or dimwits that don't have a clue. ??????
New Jefferies buy at £1.05
Hi Pogo001, I have to agree with you about tom, he has now / seems to have changed his views about the Dame.
Has he now seen the light or just had blinkers on all the time.
Anyway can now see these going to £1 in 3-6 months. with luck and a gale.
So has the SP now turned for the better and we could see 63p-64p today.
So if this goes sub 70p I will buy more, simple.
within a month this should be back to 75p again.
It's true the numbers were already more or less known and they were slightly better than thought, it's just the market and traders making a quick buck when they can.
Even JP Morgan have come out today with about the same price target of 84p ish, so the SP should recover over the next few days/weeks. I hope.!!!
No I didn't tom I sold the last lot at 75p-76p and just bought back in the 70's even with com etc, so better than divi.
OK bottled it, just bought back in as I'm just not sure if it will go lower or start to rise again.
Let's hope so many of us bought lots more on the big drop.
Good morning tom, we all know what's going to happen today, I sold my THG for profit and then bought in again yesterday at 60.5p, so today they will go down and ITV will surprise us and go up. good for all the stock we hold but not if we are looking to buy more in cheap. sod's law.
Hi tom, that's it. All the odds &Sod's through out the day.not 1 trade.
I guess it now all depends on how the ftse ends and how the Us markets hold or fall. if it's a fall and our market opens down 50 points or so then ITV will also be down another 1p-2p so could be down a total of 5p-6p making a great buy back price.
Maybe this target of 48p was right all along.
Don't talk about losses old chap, MM must only talk about profits to encourage the city to keep the ship afloat.
It looks to me that 60p is on the cards so what's the point in buying now you might as well wait another few hrs.
Think this will settle down to maybe 73p by end of the day which means it could be buy in time on Thursday at 68p-69p
It seems to me that there is strong feelings both ways for this, but to me it just seems that although these results are not that bad with some good points in them we just seem to be that everything will be alright in the end.
But when is the end and just how long do we have to wait for jam tomorrow, so I think the SP could settle down a little more to may be 60p again.
But what will the city think? down about 5p
