Yes after selling a few at 84p a few weeks ago the SP has been trading in a very small range, also looking to buy more when it hits 75p-78p.

Could still be weeks before we hear more about any deal.

So after this broker remarks I guess the SP will also be dead in the water for the next few weeks/months

So talks are still going on and at an advanced stage which I guess could mean anything, but could be good news soon.

Agree, and that also why the city traders love ITV and won't get rid of the Dam, they know ITV goes up and down and they can flip it every few weeks and make money.

This looks like a normal MM move to first rubbish a part of the business to bring down the value and then make a move to buy it off THG via engin for peanuts , which when done will suddenly become profitable again.

WOW ! not sure what comment to make, for the first time I am reading an RSN that looks to be all positive with many improvements in most sectors and totally out of normal expectations.

Now after reading any RNS like this from any company you would expect the SP to respond with a nice jump, but knowing THG and the city nothing would surprise me to see a drop in SP but it would also be nice to see 60p again which is where it should be this week and £1+ shortly. Let's see what happens.

After following these for the last 6 months I am inclined to agree with james that they are about to turn things around.

2025 has seen new management, selling off loss making parts of the business and more cost controls. They have said they will improve sales, cut more costs and NOT raise more money, they have also said they will still come in on profit before tax target about £180m.

So taking all that into account it does look like there will be a turn round with more profit, or a takeover offer of say 50p-70p within 6 months.

Anyway that's the way I see it and I also bought more yesterday. So here's to luck also playing a big part.

Been watching these all day and thought it hit the bottom so bought another 30,000 at 23.24 , but just after I push the buy button the SP dropped to

to 23.18. But happy and I think it's a good price. But this seems to happen to us all more times than one would like.

Let's see where it goes from here.

Yes it sure looks like a good deal at 20% for a year and set against assets / % as long as the company doesn't go bust.

I guess we will see in 12 months.

A clever or stupid deal , who knows at this point but they sound confident.

Looks like the board and the Dame are setting things up so she will get another 5m free shares for completing this deal if / when it gets announced.

There are 65,479,277 Shares are held in treasury. and they should all be cancelled , then they can't use them for giver ways.

I don't think there will be any dilution as these shares in treasury were just held and NOT closed so were still included in the total, it's only when they cancel the shares that they are not included in the total. Anyway that's my reading.
