Netflix won't be buying all of Warner only parts, so the cost of the parts could be covered by ITV and Banks, just like other bids.

Maybe ITV will put in a counter bid for Warner

Soon we may find out who has bought Liberty's 140m sold shares, because they are NOT just sitting on the shelf somewhere.

So after yesterdays 2 big buys of almost 13mil shares each it looks like someone is trying to consolidate ITV, who must think at 70p ish ITV is a great buy and NOT

a dud share.

The plus part here is , your not alone. just how many times have we looked and followed 2-3 stocks to invest in and then at their lowest price we buy one, but then only to find the one we bought has gone down and the ones we didn't buy have gone up.

It's the knowing we are all rubbish at this game that makes it easier to live we our losses at time and stops us going ******.

Don't worry though about MCG this one will come good with good news soon.

Davffed, tactics what tactics your talking rubbish, I have bought these many times over the last 2 years, I have added and sold a few along the way to bring down my ave simple as that.

You work you plan if you have one and I will work mine.

I don't care what your price is or what you are doing , so you shouldn't care what I do and don't waste your time about what I do. every man / women to themselves.

But the government / HMRC have NO money and if THG do win HMRC are likely to pay out in dribs and drabs .

For many that have bought these in 20's -30's are looking to make good money. Firepower I think you have lost the plot as the next set of results will show a great improvement all round.

They have the money from the US sale , cutting costs, sale from English bus business , company have said they are NOT short of case and are NOT going to raise more money. So far from going down will now start to go up and you will again miss out on the rise. But hey everyone to their own so just keep your thoughts to yourself , as it makes you look even more like a plonker.

All this talk for months about a vat refund is just talk and will never happen, let's just forget about it and if it does happen at some stage down the line maybe next April /May it will be a great bonus for next years numbers, simple.

It could all be just a numbers game for Liberty, They may have made millions on other deals and rather than pay a huge C/G tax bill they have decided to sell some ITV at a loss to off-set huge profits elsewhere..

So what might look like a big loss could turn out to be a clever move by them. who knows.

So THG is not on this list, are we going with a joint appeal with someone else?

Because if we are not on the list we will NOT be getting anything back.

No one has lost any money here unless you have sold but many of us are just ave down to make more profit later. Still better than any cash isa.

Even the Mail today is saying that now Liberty is almost out with only 5% , it opens up the bid market for ITV as liberty was seen as a hold /stopping block for any other bid.

OK so that's the seller holdings , but now we need to know the buyer holdings because you can bet your life the broker already had the buyer ready and wanting these shares.

Once e get that the SP will start to move up more back to the 75p-80p mark, which it is already looking like it's doing.

Maybe then all the de - rampers and fantasy nerds will go.

I see that yesterday Warner Bros in US put itself up for sale due to all the goings on in the media sector. So has Liberty sold half it's ITV share to just raise money for a big pot/ chest ready to make a bid for Warner /Disney?

Everyone knows ITV is under valued even at 80p -£1 ,so you can understand why someone has bought these for a snip at 68-69p because they know that there is big profit to be made very soon.

No one will be buying this chunk thinking they will lose money. It's a no brainer.

For whatever reason Liberty want out, this sale just shows how fast someone is prepared to act and get hold of a big chunk of 5% of ITV in one go is.

If as some say ITV has had it's day someone thinks different.

So what ever the deal £ is I guess it will be used to pay down debt which must be good for SP.
