Rox. No you will be fine. Look it's July and every year from May - Sept the markets are always down so you cannot think this is it with share prices, the city and many are on holidays etc and everything will come back in Oct -Dec.
The plan is not to take it to heart and relax etc. But I am not so sure about Saga. ha ha

So I guess we all really new this was on the cards at some point and although the SP looks ok for now it will be way down when the city and everyone else looks at the fine detail.
It does seem as though the debt is never ending.

This week bought into IAG at £1.04 so hoping that will go back to £1.20+. it's a game !!!

Companies are never too big to fail, when they go bust there is always someone ready to take them over on the cheap and life will carry on apart from all the shareholders that will lose everything. The city / the world just doesn't care life just move on. We all think we are important until we are gone then reality kicks in.

Looks to me as the worst is over today with the market down 120 ponts or so and now oil price starting to fall iag is starting to look atractive, could see £1.10 by finish.

Hello guys all this talk again about the SP going down, but have you all noticed that the whole market is down what about 80 points now but IAG is up so just amigine what this will do when the market turns.
There is clearly built up head room here for it to go to £1.20+ once the market moves.

This could take 1-2 years and second they could say NO trouble carry on as normal.

We also have to remember that IAG also trade under Iberia and have a very large spanish business which as far as I understand don't have the same or as big a problem as Heathrow.

Jtan ,Because the airlines forward bought oil about a year or 2 ago probably below 80$ ab, so any movement on oil nowdays up or down means nothing. They have already accounted for many of the running costs.

Jtan, that's the main problem with you, you get p***d off with the game and that's all it is. calm down and just come to terms with it.
Nothing make any sense it never has, you cannot beat it or explain it you just play it for what it is.

It's not about what the SP is today as the whole market is down, It's about what the SP will be in a few months.
I bought in yesterday but as one would expect it always goes below that when you buy, but I think we all know that in 3 months or so it will be much higher.

It all looks in control to me, and going to plan.

Todd, the business can make more profits sometimes with less customers but higher profits. Just look how it used to be 10 years ago so don't get hung up on pile it high sell it cheap now that is a disarster.

Also we have to take into account that for all those flights that were cancelled by heathrow, airline like IAG have already taken the money from the customers but will not have to pay it back as it wasn't their fault and they will have to claim from their insurance. So not only does IAG have the money they don't have the flight costs ie fuel etc because the flight never took off. More profits.

Hi guys , after following these for months I have now bought in.
All this talk about extra demand in flights does look real to me and many others when you try to find any cheap deals.
All this demand and shortage of staff will / has already pushed up prices and people will now get used to it , which has done all the airlines a big favour because it now looks like the cheap deals have gone and many / most airlines will now make bigger profits in the coming months/ years. Simple supply and demand so IAG profits will turn for the beter once we get the next 3 months out of the way and the SP should go back up to £1.50 very fast.

The trouble is we all know that if MA doesn't buy a chunk the SP will drop like a stone to 40p or below.
