Yes we all hope this could be the start of the big rise up to the results day, then if they are good who knows.
But NOT a time to sell from my view.

This can't be right as showing £1 first thing, or is there news coming of a takeover.
Or is it just wrong market numbers at the opening?

Yes it seems they are not worried about the company's cash / sale situation at all and don't want to rush out any rns to risk any negative views poping up.
It does seem to be all steam ahead as normal.

Hi Rox, I noticed you have been buying lots of these, a little while ago all you money was tied up in Card so you must have lost a lot if you have sold out of that after your av pirce was much higher than the current price.Wouldn't you have been better to just hold card a little longer rather than gamble on this.

Yes it is funny that there doesn't seem to be any real reason why the SP is at this level. NO profit warnings , NO real bad news, just looks like steady as we go to reach their plan and results target.

Thanks for taking the time to post the reply, In all honesty IR's reply sums up the situation well and from what they say everything does still look OK. Maybe this should be put out as a statement to the market and maybe then we will see the SP going back up, because based on what the IR say the SP should be back over £1 no trouble.

Come on it's common knowledge that many Directors never really keep track of thier share prices as they are too busy trying to run the business.
But with all the recent takeover interest / rejections etc and press you would think the BOD's would put out some sort of statement.
Now it could be that someone wants to take it private and that's why the SP is being held down and maybe the plan is to offer £1 to go private and they think that with the latest Broker price target they could win it with a £1. But surely something will have to give soon.

And if they had any real knowledge they would wait another week or so until int report comes out and then give their price targets.

This just goes to show do these brokers know any more than us?
I have always thought these brokers look at the business and take into account everything that's happening now and what is coming down the line, so if they know what they are doing and use the same / similar guidlines then they should all come out with very close reports.
But looking at 2 new price targets today they couldn't be more apart, so iether these companies use school boys / girls that don't know what they are reading or they are in it for their own good to just make money.

Hi dogger, yes very true but this is what happens when we get high inflation and people run short of money and start to trade down, but at least PFD are still getting the sales and although profit margins are lower there could be higher sales to help off-set lost higher profit . Good start though.

Hi Tom, I know many have been talking about the BOD's perhaps changing their minds about spending lots of money moving more into digitalb ut I think it's fair to say now that the BOD's have NO idea of changing their plans after the new Director changes below announced within the last week.

I had a buy in target of 71p ish but it now looks like I should make the buy in target 65p as this now looks as if it will get that low.

Good morning Alboumphoto, I think you are spot on , It's all just baloney and something to talk about.
Let's be honest here none of us really know what's going on, we can guess to try and make us look bright in the eyes of other posters , and we can say things we want / hope will happen because it might just help your views.
But at the end of the day it's all just a game and a guess, on the other hand we all know that sooner then later this will turn for the better and it's just a question of time before ITV 's plan comes together and the SP will be back over £1.20.
Now does that help or just make me sound like a Plonker !!!!!!!!

Well something must be coming down the line with another 3p drop today, so I just added a few more hoping it will go back to £1.15 soon.

I have also been looking to get into THG after following this for weeks, 70p-71p would be a good price so now very close, well was yesterday.

So tell me something I don't know, I was already in and took part in that when it happened.

All very interesting and with everythoing else going on but at the end of the day / week / month is this going up or down. Simple !!!!
