So is the SP being held down somehow so GNC can buy all those share back cheap?
I guess that would be a good idea if they can do it, but med term say 3-6 months this has to be £1.30+ doesn't it.

After ther last results there sem to be so much negativity from this post board and the city about future investment with a big decline in SP , but going by this RNS it does look like the plan is working with big benefits to come down the line.
The SP does / should be well above the £1 mark but lets see what the city make of this RNS.

I am sure there many new chairman of companies that buy shares in their new jobs, and this might have been part of his employment contract to buy 1m shares within a certain time period just to show his commitment.

So does one sell some ITV although report on Thursday to buy more of THG?

It sounds like this seperation has been on the cards for a while now but the IR department or BOD's couldn't say anything untill both sides agreed to do so. And I expect that their was also an agreement on both sides that NO trading up-date or RNS would go out until this announcement was made.
So even though they have said there will be an up-date in Sept I wouldn't be surprised to see another RNS about press remarks or trading much sooner than we think. It time to start planning and moving forward now for the BOD's.

It sounds like you don't like love island. I don't watch it iether but if you are / were in media even if the love island was / is cr*p it does get people to watch it and if you are / were and advertiser that is just what you want / need to advertise your products because people see it.
So from and ITV investor that's just the sort of progamm I want to see on their plan. It's all about bringing advert money so keep it up.

Sorry Hajones, but why do you think this will go any lower and on what facts are you going by?
This has already fallen by a very high % and now ready to start climbing again. By you telling others to sell you could be losing them more money on very little grounds at all.
If you actually hold shares and want to sell them now then sell them and try to buy back when we are much higher at say 80p, but you wont be making more money you would have just lost money. Stick to what you think you know and leave others to their own actions.

I think we all know that the closed period is 30 days before the results, But are they 30 days before the end of the trading period date or 30 days befor the announcement of results. ???????

Now that this RNS is out of the way they will give a trading up-date.

But we all know that if and when ITV announce good results on Thursday the city will drop the SP, so do we sell some on Wednesday and then buy back on Thursday / Friday ?

If that was true and all brokers ues the same slide rule or same guidlines to come to an anwser, Why do so many brokers all looking at the same numbers seem to come out with totally diferent price targets.. We all know these brokers say what they want to give them a bigger / better chance of making money or cutting their own loses. I am afraid you need a better reason to believe any broker. It's just a big game and we are all in it to make what we wish.
